Mabubu pointed toward the Abyss wall, then turned to glance nervously at Orson.
"You're not going to… eat me once I'm no longer useful, right?"

Orson's lips curled into a teasing smile, amusement flickering in his black eyes.
He knew well—on the Acid Waters World, the most humiliating death an adventurer could suffer wasn't being slain in battle, but being roasted and eaten by fellow adventurers. That was the only reason Mabubu had been so eager to cooperate.
