SirLagsALot laughed wildly into the camera. Bradley and the others immediately played along, throwing millions of gold into Infinite Dimensions loudspeakers as if money meant nothing:
Bradley: "Thanks to Brother Taran's brilliant idea of deliberately getting captured, his sacrifice won the trust of the Pantheon Sanctum gods. Without him, how could our Godslayer Guild have made such a powerful comeback? Big thumbs up!"
Madman: "Born an Earthling, dying as an Earth hero. To protect Earth, he'd use any means necessary. That's a true saint!"
Inside the temple, Taran's rage boiled over. His battle-axe crackled and roared with lightning.
He had believed that by keeping his distance from the Godslayer Guild when Infinite Dimensions first opened, there would be no clashes. As long as he waited until his bloodline awakened, he could dominate Earth.
For over a decade, everything went as planned.
