"We should get going before it gets too late", CJ said after they spent a few hours at the park together, had lunch, while the kids filled Clara in about what they had been up to, and now it was dark out already. Clara was about to ask if they wanted to have dinner at her place but she decided not to. She didn't want things to get more awkward between her and CJ.
So she simply nodded and gave her kids a warm, tight hug. "Why can't Mummy come with us?" Her son asked when she broke the hug.
"Well mummy has things to take care of but I promise we will be together again soon" Clara said and she felt her heart break a bit when she saw the sad looks on their faces. "but i want you to come with us, grandma says you don't want us" Clara felt her heart drop to her stomach, that freaking witch!
"Of course not, she is wrong," Clara said and turned to look at CJ who threw her an apologetic look.
