"That's all for now," Carla said when she was done showing Terry around, her smile was a little bit too bright, and Terry didn't miss the way she kept touching his arm and laughing way too much at something that wasn't even funny. He had to smile back, even though internally he kept cursing her out. She made him question why he took on this job. He should have passed it on to someone else, but now it was too late to do that. He had to carry on with it till the very end. "I wish I could stay a bit longer, you are so much fun than Lana" The smile on her face faltered a bit when she mentioned Lana, and Terry didn't miss that. "How about I speak to the doctor on your behalf when I get back? We can work something out and have you work here even after I'm back" Carla's eyes lit up as she waited for his response. "Oh my, that would be really great. Thank you, Carla," he replied, even though he knew he wouldn't be here when she returned.
