James paced the hallway outside the emergency room, his shirt stained with dried blood, Alex's blood.
He couldn't sit. Every second that passed felt heavier and slower. The hospital lights were harsh, buzzing faintly above him, but he barely noticed. His mind replayed the scene again and again, Alex lying on the cold ground, the blood, the look in his eyes before he lost consciousness.
He'd called the police, the security head, even the chief surgeon, but none of it felt like enough, each second that passed made things even harder for him but a part of him was furious because someone had planned to do this and successfully carried out the plan. They targeted Alex and he was going to make sure he found out everyone involved in this and make them pay. he already had an inkling of who would do a thing like this and two people were on his mind already. he had to proof that they were involved in this. James brought put his phone and checked for the time.
