Chapter 107 - CHAPTER 105: Conclusion

When Javier and Leon arrived at the underground arsenal, Jason had already captured Wilson. Jason had undergone a mutation and turned into a bioweapon—he then bit Wilson on the neck.

Wilson screamed in pain, but Jason didn't kill him. Instead, he tossed him to the ground. Javier noticed there were culture tanks everywhere, and inside them were biochemical soldiers. Wilson's plan was to start a war and then sell those bio-soldiers to make money.

Javier also saw Claire tied up nearby and said, "I'll leave this place to you. I'm going to save Claire." After saying that, he ran off without giving Leon a chance to argue. Leon could only hold back his frustration and press on.

Javier reached Claire, and she looked at him joyfully.

"Didn't I tell you to be careful? Now you're hurt," said Javier as he began untying her.

Claire smiled faintly, feeling the concern in his voice. After loosening the ropes, she stood up and said, "Look," pointing upward.

It turned out Jason had activated a switch, and all the culture tanks dropped into the corrosive liquid below. The tanks were submerged and slowly dissolved, killing the biochemical soldiers inside.

Wilson, still lying on the ground, clutched his wounded neck and quickly grabbed an inhibitor, injecting himself. Seeing his results destroyed by Jason, Wilson also became furious.

Leon was doing everything he could to reason with Jason, but Jason had already lost his mind. He looked at everyone and said, "I want the world to know fear, starting with the press conference." With that, Jason jumped up.

At that moment, the president was directly above the base, and all the reporters had already arrived. Jason had been eagerly waiting for this moment. Seeing this, Leon started shooting at Jason, but unfortunately, every bullet bounced off, unable to pierce his armor.

"Damn it, Javier, get over here and help me!" Leon shouted to Javier, who was still talking with Claire. Javier heard Leon's cry, quickly hugged Claire, and brought her to the exit.

"Wait for me here. Don't go running off," he said. Claire nodded.

Leon was struggling to fend off Jason's assault. Javier immediately stepped in between them and raised his hand to block Jason's arm. Only then did Leon break free and get back on his feet.

"If you stop now, you can still be saved," Javier said to Jason.

"Jason is already dead," Jason replied, and then threw a punch at Javier.

"You're so disobedient," Javier muttered, shaking his head as he punched Jason's fist. Jason's arm was shattered by the force of the blow. He looked at Javier in shock.

"You were injected with the virus too? Impossible," Jason said.

"Don't compare your inferior products to mine. Rest in peace, hero." With that, Javier punched Jason in the stomach.

Jason stumbled back in disbelief and then fell onto his back, dropping straight into the corrosive liquid. Watching Jason disappear, Leon stepped closer to Javier and looked down.

"We need to get out of here—this place is going to be destroyed," Leon said.

Javier turned and saw that Wilson was being escorted away by two Tricell soldiers.

"Go find Claire. I've got something to take care of." After saying that, he leaped across the gap and landed right in front of Wilson. The two soldiers were startled to see him and raised their weapons to shoot.

Javier kicked both of them into the corrosive liquid, one by one. The soldiers were completely dissolved without even a scream.

Javier grabbed Wilson by the neck and dragged him to the edge of the stairs. There was corrosive liquid below, and Wilson screamed in terror.

"Javier, stop this! Wilson must be handed over to the government. You can't kill him!" Leon shouted as he saw what Javier was doing.

Wilson smiled when he heard Leon's words. As long as he stayed alive, there was always a way to escape punishment.

But when Javier saw the look in Wilson's eyes, he let go of his hand. Wilson fell into the corrosive liquid with a shocked expression and disappeared instantly.

"You—" Leon looked at Javier angrily. "What did you just say?"

"You were too far away—I didn't hear you," Javier replied, pretending to be clueless. Seeing Javier's sly look, Leon turned and walked away.

Javier returned to Claire, wrapped an arm around her waist, and left. The aftermath would be handled by Leon and his intelligence department.

Javier left with Claire. In the car, he took out the chip containing the evidence and explained to her what had happened.

"Why don't you give it to Leon and let him turn it over to the government? That way, Wilson and Tricell's conspiracy will be exposed," Claire asked.

"This matter is way too complicated. Leon won't go public with it, and the government won't allow it either. Think about it: if a country's Defense Minister wants to start a war for profit, the entire country would be implicated. Besides, Tricell is rich and powerful, and many people in the government speak on its behalf. They'll sweep this under the rug and treat it as something minor."

Claire could only sigh.

Indeed, the incident was never publicly acknowledged. The official report claimed that Secretary of Defense Wilson died in a plane crash, and a grand funeral was held in his honor.

Due to the government's silence, the Tricell Corporation grew even bolder. They even ignored the Azure Dragon Company and became the largest pharmaceutical company in the United States.

Javier knew that the crazier Tricell became, the closer it was to its downfall—just like Umbrella. If you want to destroy them, first let them go mad.

While Tricell was frantically developing bioweapons, a spy from Umbrella brought news that the American branch of the Umbrella Corporation had been reorganized and renamed the Blue Umbrella Corporation.

Blue Umbrella Corporation: A major company rebuilt from the remnants of the original Umbrella Corporation. After the incident codenamed "Talos" in Russia in 2003, the original Umbrella Corporation collapsed under massive financial losses.

However, its enormous database and research on B.O.W.s were divided among several factions (including Wesker, the official military, and private forces). Later, under the protection of multiple laws, individuals and organizations with good intentions that inherited Umbrella's legacy gradually rebuilt the company, named it Blue Umbrella, and changed its logo.

The goal of the company was to atone for its past mistakes by fighting the new era of bioterrorism and eradicating the B.O.W.s that had killed millions of innocent people.

"Hmph. If you really want to be useful, then entertain me, try to throw those pathetic power stones at me. Let's see if even your insolence can amuse a king."
