'Kian'... ' Who's there?... Where am I?' Kian asked in confusion looking around him. He was standing in a hallway which seemed unfamiliar. He walked carefully to the end of the hall but kept getting back to the same place he was.
' Whoever you are, show yourself ' Kian demanded but received a sardonic laugh in return. His eyes roamed the area but still saw nothing. The last thing he remembered was laying in bed with Lexi in his arms. Now he was here, in a place he couldn't recognize with a voice that seemed to mock his actions.
'Don't you remember your own father's voice?' The voice said behind Kian making him turn. Right behind him, just a few meters from him stood his father, red eyed and intimidating. 'What is happening? Where am I?' he asked his father.
'It doesn't matter where you are Kian. What matters is why you're here.' Culis began. 'You are a powerful... a very powerful being Kian. You have the power to twist and alter and dement all time itself. You have the power to move from past, present and to future, even in between them. No one else can do that...not the way you can. I can travel through time but whatever I alter affects nothing in any dimension. But you - you can decide the fate of the whole cosmos.
Think about it, do you really know the kind of power you harness? The kind of change you can make? That's why I need you to join forces with me and change the whole composition of this galaxy.'
Kian stared at the red eyed man in awe. This wasn't his father for sure. Truly, if there was a darkness he was trying to protect him from, it was now here, vividly present. And it was boldly trying to corrupt him to do his bidding.
' Think of it son, with your power and my impeccable knowledge, we can rule the whole world. We can turn back time and make it as we wish it' he said. ' You mean YOU could rule the galaxy. You've already corrupted my father, what more do you want?' Kian replied. 'You' -
Lexi woke up again and realized she was alone in bed. The empty space beside her was cold. Kian had been gone for a long while. She sat up, a smiling creeping on her face at the precious moment both of them shared. She then got dressed into something comfortable and headed towards the door. Her hand touched the knob when everything started to tremble. The mansion began to shake and Lexi grabbed onto a nearby table in shock as she was thrown forward by the movement.
She was confused at what was happening. The tremor continued persistently and she wondered where Kian and Lucris were. At that thought Lucris burst into the room through the door. 'My lady, we need to go now' Lucris said as he reached for her. 'Where's Kian? What's happening
Lucris?'
'I'll explain everything once we get somewhere safe my lady. Please, right now we need to go' Lucris said. With not time to hesitate, she held onto his hand as they both went into the a portal that opened. They came out the other side safely but the tremor still continued. Lexi realized they were on a hill a bit far from the mansion. Under the covering ofa large, frozen oak tree.
'OK,Lucris, what is happening? Why are we here and where is Kian?I woke up and he was gone.' she said in a frustrated tone. 'My lady, I need you to listen to me carefully. Don't panic and just bear with me.'Lexi stared at Lucris,anxiety building up at an alarming rate within her.' Master Kian has been... 'he paused.' Has been what?! 'Lexi screamed unable to hold it in, tears began streaming down her cheeks at the thought of something terrible happening to Kian.' Master Kian has been corrupted '
' What...? What do you mean he's been corrupted 'she said, confusion now evident in her gaze.' Culis' s darkness... I don't know how but it's controlling the Master now '. " So where is he then" Lexi asked.' He's heading for space. We have no time for explanations now My lady, we have to leave immediately, it's not safe here.'
' What about Culis? 'Lexi asked now concerned.' Culis is- 'I'm here' they turned around to find Culis standing at the door. 'My darkness-- ughh' he tumbled to the floor, his knees too weak to hold him up. 'My darkness, it's controlling Kian now and I'm no longer in connection with it' he said in a heavy breath.
'How did this happen, I don't understand' 'He let his guard down for a split second and my darkness took advantage of that, leaving with part of my soul' Culis explained. Lexi stood rooted in shock at what she just heard. ' Was it because he was with me?' she thought. Kian had been with her before it all happened and she was certain he had let his guard down because he had relaxed so much while with her.
'This is all my fault' she said, grabbing a fistful of her hair in her hands. 'My lady...rhis ain't your doing, the darkness in Culis was just too strong. Master Kian is always alert and you know he would not just stand there and allow that to happen to him' Lucrus reasoned. 'He's right Lexi, it's not your fault. The darkness in me has gotten too strong. And I believe at this point... Only you can stop him and--cough!cough!
' Culis... What's happening to you? Are you alright?' Lexi helped him sit up.' Part of my soul is gone with my darkness. I'm slowly dying, I don't know if I will make it in time. We need to hurry before it's too late to save Kian, so forget about me' 'Culis...'
