Philip scanned the dusty entrance of the cave, a week of anxious waiting etched on his face.
"Commander Philip, you've been checking on him for seven days straight... What if he's dead?" A soldier, concern lacing his voice, couldn't help but ask.
"Just make sure she doesn't hear you," Philip cautioned, glancing over his shoulder at Leyla. She sat with her eyes closed in one of the sleek black Audis, a picture of still worry.
"The Valhalla family sent her and their special guards over... It's just a bad thing no one can enter the cave," he muttered, more to himself than the soldier.
"Oh!" The soldier nodded, absorbing the information.
"Commander Zenith sent word that a monster tide is heading towards Cordelia... The monsters are following behind the sky stage beast, which will arrive in two days... And she also said the master tamers and supreme tamers are already on the frontline, that you are also needed."
