There were about ten of them who were all noticeably toned and all had different features. Some had fox ears on the top of their heads similar to Scarlett's, Others had wolf ears, There was one with the ears of a bear and even one with rabbit ears. The one leading the group had short brown hair and wolf ears but his expression was far from friendly.
"I am Corin" The beast kin named Corin stopped just in front of the queen and bowed his head very shallowly.
"Welcome Queen of humans" He said with a blank tone that made it quite clear that we weren't particularly welcome.
"Thank you" I nodded my head at the wolf eared man while feeling a little awkward at how different he treated me.
"Is the king ready for our arrival?" Sophia asked with a small smile on the edge of her soft looking lips.
"Yes….he's waiting" Corin's friendly expression immediately turned indifferent when he looked at her.
"Good" Sophia didn't seem bothered in the slightest by his attitude and nodded her head with the grace of a queen.
"You'll need to leave your men outside the gates" Corin said suddenly as he looked at the knights that were lined up near the carriages.
"I understand" Sophia said in agreement while glancing at Alexia who looked back at one of the knights.
"Set up camp and wait for our return" She order and the man instantly bowed his head in acknowledgment to her words.
