"I'm sorry that only benson is here" He gave a look of apology to Sophia who was glancing at Scarlett in amusement.
"The other three commanders….well" Thorn scrunched up his face as did the older commander to his side.
"I understand their feelings" Sophia shook her head with her plump lips pulling into a knowing smile.
"None of them will start trouble while you're here" Thorn gave us a serious expression that was unlike the smile he had been showing thus far.
"And if they do I'll give them a beating" But the smile came back a few seconds later breaking the stiffness in the air.
"Now the tournament isn't for a few more days so I'll have benson show you to your rooms" Thorn looked toward the old man who nodded and walked toward us.
"Please follow me" The fox eared old man gestured for us to yet before I could move I felt a large arm around my neck.
"Hero can I have a word?" Thorn whispered in my ear and kept me from following the group that had left the room.
"What is it?" I thought that he had something serious to talk about to I turned around with a straight expression.
"How did you do it?" Yet what I was met with was Thorn looking at me with a bewildered look on his face.
"Do what?" I asked back in confusion until the large man reached over and grabbed both of my shoulders with his hands.
"How did you tame that feral woman!" Thorn asked me the same question he had early making me stare at him weirdly.
"Do you know how many times I've tried to make that woman my wife?" He asked with an expression of exasperation that made me even more curious about his words.
'I never even knew he proposed to Scarlett…' I didn't really have a reason to be jealous but I still felt weird for not knowing.
"No I don't" I answered back and saw Thorn's exasperation grow even more as he squeezed my shoulders.
"I've asked her numerous times but she's always refused" He let out a sigh and shook his head before looking around and leaning down toward me.
"She even punched me one time" Thorn whispered and I almost laughed when I saw the look of fear in his eyes.
'That sounds like her…' I nodded to myself and held myself back from laughing.
"So tell me how you got that terrifying woman to accept your proposal" But it was quickly replace by his narrowed eyes as he leaned right in front of my face.
"…..I beat her in a fight" I hesitated wondering what I should say until I spun the truth and left a little bit of the story out.
'And smacked her ass a hundred or so times…' I wonder what he would say if I told him the real story of how I tamed her.
"So that's how" Thorn's eyes widened and he let go of my shoulder while quickly nodding as if understanding.
"I guess I never really had a chance then" He let out a sigh and shook his head in the opposite direction downcast.
"I honestly don't know if I could have beat Scarlett back then" Thorn said with a defeated expression that someone called the beast king probably shouldn't be making.
"Or even now" I smirked and decided to tease the old man a little bit making him stiffen as he heard my words.
"….You've gotten bratty little one" Thorn looked at me with narrowed eyes yet he didn't deny what I had said.
"Now" He moved on from the topic quickly and wrapped his arm around my shoulder making me uncomfortable again.
"How did you get her to wear those stickers?" I stiffened hearing his question and felt my lips almost frowning.
"I knew Scarlett had a nice body but now I really regret not making her my wife" Thorn continued on with a regretful expression.
"That big ass of hers has enough meat to feed an entire household" He muttered and I felt my eyes widen at the lewd remark about my fiancé's ass.
"No offense little one" Thorn eventually looked down at me with a slightly apologetic smile.
'….' If it was the past then I would have definitely been offended and said something but so much had happened.
"None taken" I just let the comment go since I've constantly heard a lot worse about Scarlett's enormous ass.
