The Fallen Star compound was expanding at an incredible pace. Under Miles' command, the outer walls kept pushing outward, swallowing more land, stretching the compound's footprint wider and wider.
As Ethan's team continued sweeping through the region, the compound's population steadily grew.
After the first few days, even the original batch of Enhanced inside the compound were brought out to help with zombie cleanup.
Main reason? Ethan thought digging out crystal cores was too much of a time sink. So he had them handle it.
Thanks to a few days of Miles' "training," those Enhanced were now obedient as hell—cooperative, efficient, no complaints.
