"Tastes good, huh?" Ethan asked, watching the white-furred apes hug their roasted wolf meat and chow down like their lives depended on it.
"Roar roar…"
At this point, the white-furred apes had zero time to pay him any attention. Every one of them looked like they wished they'd been born with a few extra mouths.
Ethan chuckled, then sliced off a Bloodfang Wolf leg and started gnawing on it too.
And damn—this roast wolf was good.
It wasn't just his grilling skill. The real key was the Bloodfang Wolf's meat itself. The texture and fat were practically made for barbecue.
Ethan took one bite and couldn't stop.
So there they were—eight white-furred apes and one human—sitting on the ground in bizarre harmony, tearing into roasted meat.
Before long, the ten-plus roasted wolves Ethan had cooked were completely wiped out.
Not a bone left.
The white-furred apes patted their bellies. This time, they were truly satisfied.
