After ending the call, Ethan immediately checked the locations of the three remaining Outland Beasts.
All three had fled into forests, where the satellites couldn't get a clear view of them. That made their exact positions difficult to pinpoint.
Fortunately, the Satellite Operations Control Center had been tracking them from the start. Whenever an Outland Beast or one of its pursuers briefly appeared through a gap in the trees, the staff could estimate its general location.
But those glimpses only came in sparse patches of forest. Most of the time, all three were completely hidden.
Ethan watched his phone for quite a while before the Satellite Operations Control Center finally sent him an alert. They had located one of the Outland Beasts.
He immediately opened a Riftwalk and led everyone through.
In another forest, a snow-white fox raced between the trees with more than twenty figures close behind.
Frostfox's once-white fur was soaked red. It was clearly badly wounded.
