They came to Melody Yoody's house, and Melody invited James Brown in, looked him up and down, and said slowly, "Finished serving others, have you?"
James Brown supported Melody Yoody's waist and gently touched the already slightly bulging tummy of Melody, saying, "I came to see you, how could I serve someone else?"
"Really, can you be that honest?" Melody Yoody gave James Brown a sidelong glance.
James Brown smiled bitterly and said, "When Melody calls me, even if I don't want to be honest, I have to be, because how could I make my Melody unhappy?"
Melody Yoody was finally satisfied and gave James Brown a small smile, sitting down on the sofa with quite a pregnant woman's demeanor.
James Brown then looked around the room and said, "Have you eaten yet?"
"Not yet, wasn't I waiting for you to come cook for me? If you didn't come, I would really starve to death."
James Brown immediately stood up and said, "Then wait, I'll cook for you right away."
