Hey so here I am with another of my 'storytime'.
Remember that I told you that we wereworing on a documentary, altho it was just a mini movie , but our "English" teacher called it a documentary. Well whatever. So we were at our school's different branch, which was almost half a km away . So Anu picked me up from my home and then we went there with her scooter, we were asked to go in our school uniform , becoz , APPARENTLY we were asked to shoot it in it, to symbolize our school. But. No one except us , wore the dang uniform for the documentary!
So here we were standing in front of the both branches' manager, also our 'foundress' , thinking if we should wish her , since it was convent school.
So after a while our friends came .
Then we decided to wish her, we went to her , wished her , and we asked her , no she asked us , our purpose of 'gracing' that school with our presence . Since she knew that we were not that branch's students.
So she asked us what we were doing there , that day it was a holiday and we were there in our uniform . Then we told her that we were there to shoot our 'documentary' . She said alright and so we relaxed thinking that it would go smoothly. Little did we know that it would end up as a disaster.
Since it was decided that our classmate's brother and his friends , they might be 23 or 24 Smith, will be shooting our documentary, bcoz they know this stuff , we agreed that they will be shooting for us. When they reached , and we were ready , the foundress , called us all and asked us if we got the permission to shoot there from 'our' branch's principal and our subject teacher. We didn't.
Don't get us wrong , we weren't told to ask for permission from them , neither for shooting, nor for location, nor for the people who would be shooting it.
She scolded us , berating about how we would also be roaming around with boys like them , being underaged , shooting here and there. Calling us of bad character. Then her (let's call her Lucy) brother and his friends were trying to explain her the situation and ask for her permission but she was adamant saying that underahed girls with men (they are adults) are not allowed, more if it is without permission.
We groveled over it to her , then at the end we just shouted the admission, the lunch and bullying scene and left.
Then the next day our teacher that gave us the assignment, got angry at us , because she was scolded bcoz the foundress was angry at her . The actual reason was the underaged one , but she was barking at us for the fact that she got scolded and her ego got so hurt ,she was pushing the blame on us. She called us characterless and she was also calling us backward and talking about our bloodlines and all .
We were so angry but we still apologized, we requested her to take our documentary, but she was hell bent on not taking it or watching it. So we gave up .
We tried to gibe her that for weeks but she said that " No matter I'm you apologise or not , I'm not taking it. Never ever abd I'm giving you a zero for the assignment." And left.
Some of us were so scared that they started tearing up , snd I was like she can't do that , she has to give us at least 15 out of 20 marks otherwise the board of examination will aske her the reason and what did she give us that we were not able to do it.
Then one month later we shooted the later part of the documentary.
So we went to another school , where apparently Lucy's brother and his friends did some work or something like that. So here we were , as we started shooting we discussed the whole thing .
As it got late we started to hurry up the things, we were supposed to shoot two pre-exams before shooting the final exam scene , but since we were getting late , I suggested that we should directly shoot the final one and her brother who was shooting agreed.
Then Lisa said
"I need to go at 5:30 " she said it so softly that only I could hear her , and she was talking to me. But then her brother, Samuel heard her whisper talk and asked me,
"What did she say?" And I repeated her words , he said "she talks just like me , so soflty" and yeah he does talk softly.
It took them long to discus the whole thing. So he spoke again,
"Do whatever you need to, quickly — she has to leave at 5:30, and there are only 10 minutes left."
So instinctively I looked at my phone at it was still 5 min left to 5 o clock. I looked up but didn't say a thing , so he looked at me with a knowing look , as if telling me to say that out loud so I did, and he smiled.
Then one of our team mate came and asked my name to confirm , I told her and then Sam said
"Elisa. Elisa is my crush's name" he shouldn't have said that , that time bcoz I was just sipping on my water and I almost spilled it and then I couldn't even look forward. Anu and Lisa laughed , then he just continued smiling . Lisa ever being the most straightforward one,
said "What?"
Or more like demanded. He said "Nothing"
As Lucy was explaining the next scene, he was in his own world , completely distracted, halfway thru her explanation, he said suddenly " Repeat it again, I was thinking about something else for a moment "
And now you bet , the gears of brain worked faster than they should've.
I mean what else he must've been thinking about other than his crush? That can be the only thing to get him so distracted. He was definitely thinking about her, the past and everything in between.
Then Lucy had to leave becoz one of our friend needed her.
Then Sam showed Laxmi, his crush's Instagram Id, that I obviously took a peek at,
It said Alisa.
I am not bold enough to like look directly at it, but I still got a glimpse of it.
Alisa.. , then I was seriously thinking Elisa and Alisa are different names and have different pronunciations , right?
"This is the reason I was sming" he said to Lisa, and continued
"She's 21 yes old, but she had a boyfriend and they broke up, so I never confessed to her"
I don't want to be a reminder of anyone's painful past, and even if I didn't look directly at him , I knew he was not in pain either. He was just remembering a past he forgot.Then he said not to tell Lucy about any of it. We didn't.
Then we wrapped the whole thing up and came out of the classroom.
Since we were playing the role of students, we were all in our school uniform, and since Lisa had to go to her coaching, she had to change her clothes, so Lucy took her to the restroom, to get her change meanwhile we were all standing and talking about the most random things, then Sam suddenly said,
"Elisa, I will remember you for sure if not anyone else"
And like I am , I just kept quiet and smiled like the idiot I am.
Then as we were leaving , I turned back and waved in full swing , saying
"Bye, thankyou" as we walked away from her brothers
"Bye Elisa. Thankyou" Sam said waving back, but why is he thanking me?
Then he turned to Lisa and "Lisa"
When she looked at him he said
"Bye" in a more bold and loud voice.A s he said before Lisa was just like him , a soft spoken, he was trying to tease her.
Abd yeah , she did got flustered . Then he laughed.
And I was blushing and grinning all the way home behind Anu and squealing at home too.
He's nice, he knew where to draw a boundary, how to make us comfortable, and didn't had any malice, becoz somehow we girls know through a gaze if the person is perverted or not and still can get taken advantage of when we don't want to admit that.
I liked him , and 4 months later as I was sitting in my class , Lisa came and said "Lucy said Sam said he missed us" which made me laugh. So yeah this is how 17 yr old girls met a gentleman, who got reminded about his crush , by one of them and now they are not forgetting each other.
