Weeks went by in the academy and life moved peacefully, Nytri was hailed in many places as a hero. She didn't care. She received invites from many nobles just to speak with her and make a connection but Tristan didn't let those letters reach her. She just burned the first set before him and she was annoyed which kinda darkened the sky. Luckily, there were snacks so it was seen as just a bad weather.
After the weeks, it was time for the academy 3 month long vacation. Which is the end of year vacation. People were discussing what they'd do for vacation and Nytri is in the class with her friends and she's gotten quite popular, she can't keep everyone's names sadly.
Professor Gwyneth was before the class since she's the class Main tutor. Professor Gwyneth announces with excitement, "…..That is why this vacation, it is advised to train as hard as you can for the tournament!" Nytri wasn't paying attention to her words but she was looking right at professor Gwyneth with a smile. Professor Gwyneth finishes the announcement and takes her seat on the tutors seat and gets to work on some books. Due to the demon invasion, Tristan was kind enough to cancel the exams, though unwillingly.
Nytri turns to Ophelia, "Will you be training during the vacation too?" Ophelia nods, "Yeah, I asked my brother to help me level up. I think we'll go to Azuria's Dungeon!" She speaks with excitement, "I'll get to see you everyday!"
Juniper pouts, "Not fair, you can't just hog Nytri to yourself like that." She folds her arms, "I'll tell my parents I want to train in Azuria."
Quentin who's sitting beside her looks at her chuckling, "Doesn't the princess need to fulfil her duties?" Juniper groans in frustration, "Urgh, I forgot about that. At least I can order the son of the duchy to guard me." She smiles at Quentin with a cheeky grin. Quentin is shocked, "This is abuse of power!" they both chuckle.
Nytri smiles looking at them, "That's nice. Oh," Nytri looks at Ophelia, "Will Peregrine join you?" Ophelia blushes speaking shyly, "W-w-well, I-w-I….I'm yet to invite him." She looks down blushing. Nytri pats her on the back, "Well, go for it. Life's too short like me."
Juniper turns to Nytri, "Aren't you taller than me? What does that make me?" the group chuckle and Nytri waves her hand, "Don't sweat the small stuff. Besides, I have a feeling you'll grow pass me in a couple years."
Ophelia glances at Nytri, "So, what will you be doing during this vacation?" Nytri rubs her chin, "Hmmmm," then a sinister grin appears on her face but her friends don't see the 'sinister' part. "I'm going to pay mum and big bro a visit!" Nytri announces, "Those pranks are long overdue." Ophelia is confused, "Don't you live with both your parents?" Everyone in the class is curious for some reason.
"No," Nytri replies, "Mum and big bro are in the dragon(Monster) realm." Quentin asks, "Dragon realm?" Nytri nods, "Yeah, dragons are the most common specie so Azuria just called it that so people don't freak out. Sorta like a friendly name for a…. not so friendly place." Professor Gwyneth's ear seemed to get bigger,
Nytri glances at her friends, "Oh I have a great idea. How about you all come with me?"
"Really?!" Surprisingly, professor Gwyneth is the one asking taking everyone by surprise. Nytri chuckles, "Well, yeah." Professor Gwyneth quickly turns, "I'll go pack my things!" She rushed out of the class and Nytri tries to stop her, "Wait!" But she's gone and Nytri speaks, "I didn't say when we're leaving." The class bursts into laughter.
Ophelia nods and Juniper speaks, "I would love to go but can I ask a huge favor?" Juniper makes a pleading gesture and Nytri smiles then Juniper speaks, "Could you send my mum a letter inviting me over? She'd be the hardest to convince to let me go."
Nytri smiles, "Sure, no probs." She makes a thumbs up sending a message to Paxius about her plan.
Paxius receives it in….He's in a sauna. Anyway, Paxius sends letters to the kids parents or guardians and posts it in the Nexusphere for Azuria to make preparations. Zitile pitched in the idea of making it a group excursion, this garnered a lot of attention. Many people wanted to go to the Monster realm thinking it as a great vacation spot.
After class, Ophelia met with Peregrine and pro-asked him about the vacation, he agreed. Nytri was at that time surrounded by a lot of kids making conversation with her. Phifty's fan club kept asking Nytri where Phifty is and begging her to bring him back. Phifty left with the other Xeno to investigate an abnormal occurrence, the Azurian EP radar had blank spots. Meaning energy was blocked in some places, they discovered people living in such places but they were strange. The people had abilities that didn't rely on EP which shouldn't be unless….they were Genetically mutated like how Nytri made the corrupted abominations.
The Xenos ae trying to investigate that but they can't get close without being detected.
Nytri went to Tristan's office and invited the him, his secretary and her fairy. Surprisingly, Ragnar was with Tristan and Nytri is before the two looking at them, "So, you guys wanna come with?"
Ragnar rubs his beard, "That's is a good proposition" Tristan nods, "Yeah, I'll be able to see this Monster Realm myself." The 2 seems excited by the idea.
Nytri waves her hand, "You do realize it's a place with beings like the dragon catastrophe are common, right?"
Alder speaks to Naida, "This is a good opportunity to train. Maybe you can become as strong as Nytri." Nytri giggles, "There's actually a Fairy king there, I'm certain he'd be interested in seeing you." Alder is surprised, "There're fairies there?!" Nytri nods, "But they look a bit different." Alder shrugs, "I don't care! I'll go to this senior and learn what I can." Nytri smiles wryly and her thoughts, "His territory is very far even for me. You probably can't get there alone in 3 months, I'll figure a way to send him there and back."
They keep chatting and planning about the excursion and Tristan added a month to it which made the students jubilate. Ragnar announces to Cathgul but Paxius' letter had already arrived before him. A lot of people wanted to go, it was called the 'Excursion of a Century' for some reason. Among the people wanting to go, even gods and demon gods wanted to sneak in, they thought they'd be able to grow stronger in that place. They don't know level 200 is the limit unless you know the next step. They didn't know since ever.
