The sun started to rise, bathing the world in warmth and lilac light. Atop the mountain, a great black lizard opened its eyes, looking through the darkness of the ancient cave, it could smell the stench of death.
Something was utterly wrong; the air felt different, arid yet damp, the ground felt strangely softer, and the light coming from the outside was strangely menacing.
A dragon's senses are powerful, even if the dragon can't understand all of them, especially at a young age, their intuition is a powerful weapon that shouldn't be ignored. The dragon could tell, something out there could threaten its life; he had a feeling this would be a really, really bad day.
Slowly, the dragon lifted its head and looked forward, the pupils of its eyes widening and the fire in them burning with malice. All he needs to do is burn whatever is a threat to him; they all die and cry when their skin roasts.
