The day was over, the night slowly crept over the army's camp, and the laughter of soldiers could be heard from miles away. They had just defeated a dragon.
Sitting around the massive bonfire, Albert looked at the dancing flames with a frown. He had had enough of fire today and didn't want to see any of it. But what could he do? Large flames deter small monsters away, so it is a good way to drive pests away and save themselves from having to defend the camp against the poor critters.
Albert wasn't the only one who looked at the flames with disdain after today's events; even the soldiers seemed to be a bit afraid of it, keeping a safe distance as if a dragon would suddenly jump out of it.
