Chapter 40 - Forest Ruckus

The gentle breeze of the air dampened the surroundings, exposing its moist nature all around. With it, it released an intoxicating allure of nature that was thankfully not poisonous or anything of that sort. The illumination from the sky that marked the afternoon seared through the ground, which was thankfully blocked by the armies of green or plant nature all around it.

Quagmire walked with caution but was much more relaxed compared to the things that had been happening over the past few days or weeks since he had arrived in this world. All those times had given him the time to think things through, like what the paths he was about to take from now were. How risky they were or what was not?

Nevertheless, at least for now, he had some semblance of a plan that he would follow, not religiously, but was open to changes and compromises depending on the situation that would arise in the future.
