Chapter 162 - Moving Through

The brothers had been marching for quite a few hours already when Peter raised his fist, ordering the group to take a breather for the meantime. Paul, with his fingers itching for the trigger, came up towards Peter.

"Peter, I would like to take watch first." His voice cracked a bit, unable to hide his excitement.

Peter raised his right eyebrow and lowered the other, suspicious, as he could see his brother Paul's lips raising slightly higher with each passing second.

"Alright, but what's the holdup?" Peter asked, with concern gleaming in his eyes.

"Oh, nothing!" Paul replied, but his body said otherwise, as he was brimming with energy.

"Paul," Peter replied monotonously.

"Fine, fine. I want to see how the weapons perform in actual field tests. Real-life, real conditions." Paul patted his rifle. "The range is theoretical, but out here—"

"You, and your weapons," Peter sighed, "but I will come along with you," Peter insisted, unable to hide his own curiosity.
