Liquid tentacles shot forward, attempting to trap the creature before Arthur could reach it. The shallow sea churned violently as the legendary beast channeled its domain's power into capturing this suddenly critical target.
But Arthur and Aetherion were too fast.

The void dragon's spatial manipulation allowed for instantaneous repositioning. One moment they were fifty meters away, the next they materialized directly beside the Winter Beast. Before the water-lock could fully form, the Winter Beast leapt onto Aetherion's broad back.
