Tyler's curiosity had been piqued, and he had requested that the two kids be brought before him. Bob, ever the obedient servant, had instantly gone ahead to fetch the kids, bringing them to kneel before Tyler and the rest of the group. The kids' eyes were cast downward, their faces a mixture of fear and anticipation.
They spoke of how they had been ambushed along with the group they had gone with, and the people that had ambushed had killed everyone else except from them two. It was a lie, but they were making it up so they could get back at Anthony and the rest who had tortured them the first day they arrived there.
He also wanted to show them just how strong the master tyler he talked about was. They didn't believe his words when he said it, but if they were to see just how strong their master was, they'll come to realize that he was saying the truth.
