Chapter 316: Seeking the Truth - The Silver Wheel Reincarnation Explosion

Tonari calmly stared at Otsutsuki Ryoto, who was now floating in mid-air, his entire upper body wrapped in a faint green chakra cloak. In his hands, two green orbs—transformed from the original black Truth-Seeking Balls—spun rapidly.

"Silver Wheel Reincarnation Explosion!"

With a roar, Ryoto hurled the spinning green orbs at Tonari. A massive tornado of silvery-white energy burst forth from the orbs, creating a swirling vortex that tore through the forest. The ground below was instantly ripped apart, massive trees uprooted and sucked into the sky as if a divine force was reshaping the terrain.

Tonari's eyes narrowed, and his right eye's ripple pattern spun rapidly.

"Shinra Tensei!"

An immense repulsive force erupted from Tonari's body, pushing against the approaching tornado. The two opposing forces clashed mid-air, generating shockwaves that shook the ground and shattered nearby rock formations. The vortex struggled against the repulsive force, twisting and distorting as if trying to break free.

However, Silver Wheel Reincarnation Explosion was no ordinary technique. Even with the power of the Rinnegan, Tonari felt himself being pushed back, his feet digging trenches into the earth as he resisted the gravitational force.

"Not bad..." Tonari muttered, beads of sweat forming on his forehead.

Just as he was about to exert more power, Matatabi appeared behind him, her massive tails glowing with blue flames.

"Leave it to me!"

She roared and unleashed a torrent of blue fire, fusing it with the repulsive force from Tonari's Shinra Tensei. The combination of fire and force caused the vortex to finally break apart, dissipating into shimmering particles.

Ryoto's eyes widened in disbelief.

"How... how can you neutralize the Silver Wheel Reincarnation Explosion so easily?!"

Tonari shrugged, not bothering to explain.

"Is that the best your Tenseigan can do? I'm honestly disappointed."

"Shut up!" Ryoto roared, furious. He clenched his fists and forced his chakra to surge. The green aura around his body expanded, and a new Truth-Seeking Ball formed behind him—this one significantly larger than before.

"I'll show you... the ultimate technique!"

He raised his hand, and the Truth-Seeking Ball behind him transformed into a glowing green sphere. The space around it distorted, forming a massive gravitational pull.

"Golden Wheel Reincarnation Explosion!"

A golden beam erupted from the sphere, slicing through the air like a divine blade. The beam stretched for miles, carving a deep canyon into the ground as it advanced toward Tonari and Matatabi.

Tonari's eyes flashed with excitement.

"Now that's more like it."

He clapped his hands together.

"Wood Release: Wood Human Jutsu!"

An enormous wooden figure erupted from the ground, towering over the landscape, with Tonari standing on its head. The wooden human raised its arm to block the golden beam, but the sheer force sliced through it, severing the massive arm instantly.

Undeterred, Tonari commanded the wooden giant to pull up chunks of earth and trees, using them as shields to block the devastating beam. Despite his efforts, the golden light cut through barrier after barrier, closing in.

"This attack... can cut through anything," Tonari muttered, eyes blazing with determination.

"In that case... I'll just have to overpower it."

He bit his thumb, slamming his palm onto the wooden human's head.

"Summoning Jutsu!"

In a massive puff of smoke, Gamabunta, the giant toad boss, appeared.

"Oi! What's with this situation, brat?!" the toad grumbled, but quickly realized the severity.

"No time to explain! Bunta, water release!"

The giant toad spat a colossal stream of water, merging with the remnants of Matatabi's flames. A scorching steam explosion erupted, forming a thick mist that temporarily obscured the battlefield.

Within the mist, Tonari used his Rinnegan to sense chakra. He saw Ryoto still floating, the green aura around him growing even more intense as he prepared another attack.

"You still think you can take me down?" Ryoto sneered. "You can't match the power of the Tenseigan!"

Tonari snorted.

"I already said... I just wanted to see your power. Turns out, it's nothing special."

He formed a series of hand seals, his voice calm but decisive.

"Wood Release: Deep Forest Emergence!"

Massive roots and branches erupted from the ground, forming a twisting maze around Ryoto, trapping him in a dense forest. Before he could react, the trees tightened, binding his limbs and restricting his movements.

Tonari leapt forward, his right hand glowing with eerie black energy.

"You're not the only one who can create gravity-based attacks."

"Chibaku Tensei!"

A small black orb shot from Tonari's palm into the sky, and the earth around Ryoto began to rise, forming a massive sphere that dragged him upwards. Trapped within the makeshift moon, Ryoto struggled to break free.

Inside the sphere, he let out a furious scream.

"No! I will not be caged like this!"

But no matter how much energy he poured out, the gravitational force of the Chibaku Tensei held firm.

Tonari floated up to the suspended sphere, examining it carefully.

"This should hold you... at least until you cool off. Or until that so-called Tenseigan of yours finally stabilizes."

He glanced back at Matatabi and Gamabunta, giving them a nod of appreciation.

"Good work."

The battle had left the landscape scarred and distorted, but the danger seemed to have passed. Tonari was still wary, knowing that Ryoto's transformation might not be entirely complete.

"If he fully stabilizes that Tenseigan... it might really become troublesome," Tonari muttered.

"But for now... this will do."

He turned to head back to the village, but before he could leave, a faint crackling sound came from the sphere. A single beam of golden light pierced through the surface, followed by a muffled roar.

"I... WILL NOT BE IMPRISONED!"

The entire Chibaku Tensei sphere trembled, and cracks spread across its surface. Ryoto's voice echoed from within.

"The Tenseigan... will not be caged by such primitive techniques!"

Tonari sighed, turning back with an exasperated look.

"Of course... it's never that easy."

With a powerful blast, the sphere exploded, and Ryoto hovered in mid-air, his eyes glowing brighter than ever before. The green chakra cloak now covered his entire body, and his energy surged to unprecedented levels.

"It's complete..." Tonari muttered, narrowing his eyes.

"The Tenseigan... has fully awakened."

As Ryoto descended from the sky, his presence alone distorted the air around him. He looked at Tonari, his eyes filled with a crazed determination.

"Prepare yourself, Tonari. Now... you will witness the full power of the Tenseigan!"

Tonari took a deep breath, his Rinnegan pulsing with power.

"Bring it on. Let's see whose eyes truly rule the world."
