"Yeah, that's right. The next event is the long-awaited summer tournament, isn't it?" I said, feeling a mix of excitement and nerves.

He grinned at me, as if thinking about something.

"I know what you're thinking! Don't make any goofy gestures when I'm on the court—like shooting hearts at me or anything. And please, no cheering or shouting like you did earlier!" I warned him firmly.

He chuckled softly. "Oh, that's a nice idea," he said, teasing.

"Don't even think about it. Absolutely not," I shot back, glaring at him. 

He teased me for a while before finally deciding to head over to the main building. Since it was mostly empty, we took the chance to walk around the school proudly—for the first time that day—side by side. Aiden, as if he'd forgotten the look he had on his face earlier, strolled unsteadily beside me with his usual relaxed attitude. I couldn't help but poke him occasionally with my elbow as we went along.
