"Sorry for dragging you here unannounced," she said gently.
"It's fine. I needed to take a breather anyway," I responded, offering a small smile.
"Well, take care of yourself then," she added softly.
"Yeah, I will," I assured her.
"Don't forget my offer. If you still want to be a coach, let me know. The girls would be really happy to have you," she said with a encouraging tone.
"Okay," I replied.
"Call me anytime if you have any problems. I'll be waiting for you," she said warmly.
After parting ways with Lindsey, who waved at me until I was out of sight, I headed back home to rest. I took a nap before going to work, trying to gather my strength.
