Chapter 25 - REVENGE SHOULD BE SERVED AS A DISH II

Caspian's eyes widened at the sight of Sasha brandishing a knife. "What the hell is going on here?" he barked as he stepped between the two women.

At the sight of Caspian, Sasha's face was ashen. She didn't expect him to walk in like this. Her hands trembled and she immediately dropped the knife, running to him. "B brother Caspian, i it's Ava," Sasha stammered with a trembling voice. Her hands trembled too. "She was talking violently to me like she wanted to hurt me. I only picked up the knife to protect myself," she lied unhesitatingly.

Ava almost clapped at the drama that unfolded in front of her. This was the Sasha she knew, not the one she'd been dealing with all this while.

Caspian's jaw tightened as Sasha clung to his arm, pushing her trembling body behind him for protection. He had never seen his little sister that scared. As he stared at Ava who stood there unfazed, crossing her arms like she had done nothing wrong, he could feel a certain madness crawl up his bones.
