The first message was already enough for Kent to know he had taken a massive leap in his sword path. Forming the foundation of the three sword techniques is something that may sound simple, but it has a much deeper meaning.
To have the foundation is to be able to build upon that in the years to come.
Kent had formed three foundations, each a piece of art.
It was something he never expected to happen to him so suddenly, but it did, and now, he has not only gained a slot to view the sword realm of Old Sword, but he can now use that knowledge to start building the various forms of his sword technique.
His initial plans before meeting the Sword Dao again were to use the knowledge he would gain from Old Sword's Sword Realm to build the second foundation.
But things are different now. The knowledge will likely be applied to something else.
