The question asked is indeed out of this world or the Universe.
There was no easy answer, and Kent, who had heard this, was left with a blank expression, staring at the white-bearded man, who wore a smile on his face, clearly enjoying Kent's state of mind.
The question is illogical.
The heavens make up the universe.
These are the Rules (Daos).
They are destiny.
They are fate.
They are life and death.
They are everything.
As such, they can never rebel.
That is just impossible. The heavens are everything, and so why would they rebel? Who are they rebelling against? That logic is not sound, and so Kent dismissed it. However, he held it at the back of his mind.
After all, there is a second reason, which suggests that perhaps they are afraid of something or someone. This logic is, in a way, sound.
