Just like how Sylvara stayed in the Beast Kingdom for years before leaving, Vey did the same. However, unlike Sylvara, who left 300,000 years ago, she left a little over 30,000 years ago.
The reason she left was that she learned that her siblings had been mismanaging the Golden Divine Clan since her big sister, who took charge after their mother vanished, ascended to godhood 120,000 years ago.
Their mother left the clan to her big sister, since she was the wisest and strongest of them all. However, because their mother didn't return even after hundreds of years had passed, she had to ascend, which she did.
But after she was gone, the rest of her siblings started mismanaging the clan's affairs, which, to Vey, was an insult to their mother's dignity, name, and hard work in ensuring the clan thrived all these years.
