"Shit!"
Jest exclaimed, jumping back.
Just when he jumped away, a 300-meter-long centipede burst out of the ground and raised its head into the air, standing 120 meters tall.
Jest landed on a large stone 300 meters away and appraised the demon beast.
"This one is a Peak Root Immortal." Jest's gaze swept along the thick and segmented carapace of the centipede, and he took in a deep breath.
Its body is covered in a thick and metallic carapace, making it nearly impenetrable. It also had this metallic shine to it that only seemed to discourage anyone who saw it.
It was the kind of metal that told people their sword or spear was not getting through this monstrosity.
Jest knew he had met a dangerous one.
It had already been seven months since he ventured into the Devil's Maw. In the past months, he had stayed in the outer section of the forest, where only beasts ranging from Spirit Lord to Empyrean lived.
