Kent wanted to hold Aala back, but in the end, he let her rush to the fox lady whose life was hanging by a thread.
"Mama," Aala took hold of the woman's hands as tears began to pour from her eyes.
The woman is her mother, whom she had been waiting for. She and her husband left two weeks ago to look for food outside Planet Tianxu for their race, only to return alone, gravely injured and life barely hanging on by a thread.
She is part of the team that mostly goes out through a teleportation gate they found deep underwater. The gate leads to a planet of unintelligent beasts.
So, although dangerous, they always manage to bring home food.
This time, however, only she returned, but not in good shape.
"Big brother, please save my Mama," she turned to Kent, tears rolling down her face as she pleaded for her mother to be saved.
