Jayden crouched on a high branch, scanning the ground below. A pack of F-Rank Howlers padded through the woods, heads low, grunting to each other in rhythmic calls.
Jayden grinned.Then with one breath held—pop.. he was gone.
FOOSH!
He dropped from the treetops like a hawk, blade crossing mid-air.
SCHHH—TSSHHH!
Two Howlers fell before they even knew he was there. Their throats opened like ripe fruit.
A third turned, growling in panic—only to see nothing.
A dash. A blink. A blur.
Jayden's dagger slipped between its ribs, straight to the heart. The beast dropped with a thud, twitching.
Blood soaked the roots. Leaves fluttered from the sudden gust of motion.
The Dash Skill built into the dagger made him twice as deadly. Every slash came with a lunge so fast it looked like teleportation. And with his new invisibility… it was unfair.
Merciless. Precise. Brutal.
