Chapter 135 - Moonlit Embarrassments

Dila slowly pushed open the carriage door, the old wood creaking faintly under her touch. Her bare sandals scuffed lightly against the dirt floor as she stepped outside, the cool night air brushing against the blood-stained fabric of her uniform. The remnants of dried blood clung stubbornly to the edges of her sleeves and chest, a silent reminder of the horrors they had faced earlier.

"Sister, where are you going?" Fran's voice was small, anxious, but steady as she peeked from behind the doorway, her cat ears twitching nervously in the moonlight.

"I… I need to go outside to pee," Dila said softly, almost too quietly, her blue eyes flicking toward the dark forest that pressed in around the carriage. The faint light of the moon barely illuminated the path, casting long, wavering shadows that made the trees look like silent, watching guardians.

Fran hesitated, but then nodded firmly. "Okay… sister, but let me come with you."
