Haori's involvement twisted the entire world's pattern, like measuring battle power with a monocle where some show hundreds and others millions - no big deal since everyone plays the same game, just with different materials. But when it came to measuring Haori, whoa, it didn't show a number but a supreme cosmic being - a multiversal invasion, basically.
To the Sage, Haori's alien ability is an intrusion into the shinobi system.
After many years dead, what does the Sage care about most?
His created world system, preventing Kaguya's revival, and in a sense, protecting that system.
