Chapter 50 - What do you expect me to do (Part II)

They had records of the transactions I made to sell our weapons. Records of the bare minimum weapons I have now. I was labeled as just seller A so that's good that they didn't have a name. However, 'Seller A' flights and movements have been tracked. They've known where I've been ever since we left London. So every mission I've done since then they've been hot on my tail. Oddly enough they had no record of me going to or from Miami. That's strange. What was different when it came to the states? Thinking back I never took direct flights between homebase which was Miami and my international missions. Still if I was being tracked personally why wasn't Miami included? The more I looked at the data, the more dire it seemed. According to the reports they were working with the Company at every stop. Every time they were about to be wiped out by me or Ty they would send a message asking for support to resume their operations. The reports were disguised as just check in by United Nation or various countries agents but being apart that Company from a teenager I knew how communication within the organization looked like. Did Ty know this and that's how he's been able to locate their base of operations all this time? No, I looked over the intel I gave him as well there was no indication that the Company was connected to the United Nations. My mind was racing trying to piece things together. I didn't think Ty would of kept me in the dark about this. He wants to move on to the next phase as soon as possible especially with Nala now into the fold. If he would have known he would of targeted the entirety of the United Nations. I'll have to assume that he didn't know at all and this is new information.

An hour went by and the clock hit a quarter passed nine. I had reviewed everything that was on Nick's USB that was given to him by the Secretary General. My thoughts were now organized and clear. Although they had no name or face, they fully intended to apprehend me at the airport if certain aliases of mine tried to leave this country. The reason I wasn't tracked to my home base because "CniDaria Williams" was just a medical resident with an easily accessible history in London and the U.S. That's only used when I go home. I always thought that it would be risky always being in the same city as a crime happened, but it seems the connection was never made. Something else became crystal clear after finishing my review. The Company was the United Nations as the Secretary General was its head. As every country has their own intelligence agency this whole time the United Nations has had their own organization spying and manipulating all of the world's events until now. The corruption and filth of this world runs deep and to find out the highest seat on this planet was the one responsible made my blood boil. The United Nations is met to bring the world together and benefit all of humanity. I never even considered the possibility because the United Nations was never supposed to have REAL power, just an international mediator. Regardless he now needed to die to put a book end on this whole ordeal. The head needed to be cut off to finally kill the snake. In my head I knew exactly how this will go, I just needed the pieces to fall into place.

Though I knew this was the last thing my brother wanted to do on his wedding night doing this without him wasn't ideal. It also occurred to me that the possibility of the Secretary General fully knowing who we were was high. Depending how long he's been with the Company, if he's been apart of the highest executives for a while I doubt that he doesn't know us off a sight. I made the way to his room with a heavy heart not wanting to put this on his plate now but as big sister I weighed the future more of a priority than the present. When I spoke with him I could tell that he wasn't happy to leave his wife but I'm glad the trust we built over our lifetime was enough for him to be my piece. When I left him I purposefully put myself on a clock to get him out in the open. I now had to locate him wherever he was in the city. I had a gut feeling that he would never give us this chance again. I walked out of the elevator to the lobby to be greeted by four armed bodyguards. My mind went blank I didn't expect to be anticipated this quickly. We stared at each other for a split second before they just nodded and walked past me to enter the elevator. The elevator doors closed and watched it go up until it stopped to what I noticed was Nick's floor. Taking note of that, I turned to face the lobby. My eyes immediately spotted the Secretary General all by himself at the hotel bar having a drink. He was seemingly all alone except a single bodyguard standing around the perimeter. The body guard was armed but not someone I would have trouble with. The bodyguards that went upstairs would have been a much harder out. My eyes flashed violet but I reeled more aura in. This is the last place I wanted to make a scene. He didn't make any effort to stop me from entering the bar area. I brushed past the perimeter guard injecting my aura directly into him while walking towards the bar where my target with his back towards me sat. At the corner of my eye I could see the guard try to shake his head to rid himself of the weird feeling I know he was now feeling. I brought my focus back to the Secretary General that was sipping on a whiskey seemingly in deep thought. I put my hood up and sat two seats down from him and ordered my favorite drink, an ol' fashion.

"What luck, I was wondering if I would be able to meet my subordinates favorite paramour again." The Secretary General noticed my presence and turned to address me with a brilliant smile on his face. A smile only a politician was capable of, white teeth shining brightly but the eyes as dead and cold as a Siberian tundra. I put my own calm smile forward.

"Nice to see you again sir, funny to see you here. With so much that happened I just couldn't fall asleep, so I had to get myself a night cap. I thought you would have been long gone Mr. Secretary." He just nodded, taking a swig himself, still keeping his big smile perfectly plastered on his face.

"Honestly, I was here waiting for you. I was almost positive you would come seeking me again." His face never changed expressions, but my heart sped up ever so slightly.

"What would make you think that sir?" I had to stay calm this wasn't the place for him to meet his end. Without his expression changing he moved his seat closer to me so that now we were sitting very closely to each other.

"I wasn't sure when I saw you in the ballroom earlier but now I'm positive. I would never forget the brother and sister merchants of death. We were certain that you both died with Lucius that day, but now everything that has happened fits perfectly. You two were the perfect weapons. You all performed so many miracles that there wasn't anything we couldn't do. Even as a teenager I must admit watching you…" I shuddered repulsively as he gently grabbed part of my afro hair and smelt it. His expression never changed but his voice had lowered and became more snakelike. "..execute your missions activated something in me that my wife could never. To think you have brought my Company down to its knees, to near collapse. We literally were shitting ourselves that the Africans finally had a more than functioning intelligence agencies. That's a load off my mind." Inwardly I was stunned that he was able to spew so much vulgar venom and keep the same face on.

"Sir? What are you talking about…"

"You know I was looking into you while I was down here waiting, where do you get off trying to become a doctor? What's the point? You've splattered so much blood it would be counter productive to try to fight the scoreboard now. I digress…" He got up out of his seat and started to head towards the door. "Don't think that you or your brother will be getting out of this city." He motioned for his bodyguard to come to him and he hurried over tripping over his feet in the process. "What are you doing boy, get the car!"

"Yes, Sir! Sorry, Sir!" The bodyguard awkwardly ran forward to bring the car around stumbling in the process. I made sure once he turned around to look at me that I was gone taking the emergency stair access to get back to my room. My job was done, I stalled him to a point where Ty could get in position, and I planted my own variable as well. I reached my hotel room without encountering any opposition. In the morning there would probably be a giant man hunt going on for Ty and I but it wouldn't get to that another tragedy would happen before then.

I've gained greater control of my powers since my adventure in Moscow. I've become more aware of how my powers affect me and how they could affect others. My aura greatly increases physical attributes. All five of my senses improve tenfold to the point I'm basically a superhero straight out of a comic book. My durability is impenetrable, even a bullet couldn't break my skin when I'm fully activated. The best thing about it was that I don't think that was the limit to my powers, I still had room to grow and unlock. However, I had to be careful where I fully activated my powers because I noticed that whenever they got too close to me without any armor protection my aura would seep into peoples skin like a poison. Over exposure to this poison would cause people to go berserk. They would be out of their minds, hallucinating events happening that weren't there. They would become very aggressive to inflict harm on themselves and others.

I walked out to my balcony to watch the streets below. I could see the Secretary General car pulling out of the hotel. Right about now the poison I inflicted would be taking its effect. From my vantage point I could still see his car picking up speed trying to navigate through the streets trying to wherever there destination was. It got to the point they finally turned on the street I asked Ty to watch out for. Flying down the street and out of control, my little brother didn't disappoint, as that street lit up with fire and smoke finally cutting off the head of that cowardly snake.
