The call ended with a soft click, the line going dead.

Liam tucked his phone smoothly into the inner pocket of his black long coat, the sharp wind at the skyscraper's edge sending his hair fluttering like wild silk. His eyes were calm, unhurried, and yet holding that predatory gleam, as he gazed down at the streets below.

A sea of darkness had taken over Kyoto.

The cursed spirits flooded the roads and alleyways like locusts, shrieking and hissing as they clawed through the concrete jungle.

Thousands upon thousands, a grotesque parade of misshapen horrors, fangs, and claws, fueled by malevolence thick enough to poison the very air.

Liam exhaled slowly, his breath misting out into the night.

"Quite the party," He muttered lazily to himself, lips curving into a faint smirk. His eyes briefly scanned the distance, noting the defenders of Kyoto Jujutsu High already deployed.

The young students were full of nervous energy and determination, and the teachers were tense and battle-ready, standing between the city and certain annihilation.

The corner of Liam's mouth twitched upward in amusement.

He decided quickly as he had no time to waste.

His coat snapped like a whip as he vanished from the rooftop without a sound, his figure dissolving into a blur of speed. In less than a breath, he reappeared—right in the middle of the horde.

The cursed spirits, sensing an overwhelmingly powerful presence among them, turned with monstrous roars. Their grotesque faces twisted in rage and hunger as they charged toward him.

Liam, standing calm and untouched, simply lifted his hand.

With a lazy flick of his finger, the air exploded.

A brilliant Infinity Blue surged outward, a shockwave of compressed cursed energy. The cursed spirits didn't even have time to scream. They were obliterated—shattered into black mist and scraps of flesh, like leaves caught in a typhoon.

The street crumbled under the force of it, asphalt splitting into spiderweb fractures beneath Liam's polished boots.

Without waiting, Liam moved again.

He became a ghost among monsters, flashing through the horde, his figure blurring from one cursed spirit to another. Wherever he passed, curses were sliced apart like paper dolls, their bodies falling before they even realized they had been cut.

His movements were almost lazy, bored even, yet every casual swipe of his hand carved death into the cursed spirits. His coat danced around him, blood and cursed energy misting the air like dark rain.

He wasn't even fighting seriously—just cleaning up the trash.

As he moved through the battlefield, his golden eyes flickered, catching glimpses of familiar figures.

He spotted a hulking figure smashing through a swarm of spirits not far away.

Liam paused, observing.

There, standing like a colossus amidst the chaos, was Todo Aoi.

Todo was a mountain of a man even among sorcerers, towering close to 190 centimeters, his body thick with rippling muscles earned from brutal training. His hair was styled into short, spiky strands, jet-black and wild. His strong, square jaw and sharp eyes gave him the appearance of a war god descended among mortals.

He wore his standard uniform: a dark blue sleeveless top stretched tight over his massive frame, black martial arts trousers, and black gloves covering his large fists. Across his arms were visible veins, pulsing with sheer physical power.

His features were rough, masculine to the extreme, and he fought with savage joy—an overwhelming brawler who crushed cursed spirits under sheer brute force and cursed energy.

Todo laughed loudly as he suplexed a cursed spirit twice his size into the concrete, the ground shattering under the impact.

"COME! WHO WILL BE THE NEXT TO DANCE WITH ME?!"

Liam chuckled under his breath.

'A monster tamed only by another monster… Yuki sure raised an interesting one.'

Satisfied that Todo needed no help, Liam flickered away, ignoring the slaughter behind him.

He moved smoothly through the chaos until a familiar, slender figure caught his eye near a ruined plaza.

Mai stood among the rubble, calm and precise, her hair swinging as she raised her revolver in steady hands. Each shot cracked through the air, her bullets infused with cursed energy, piercing through cursed spirits cleanly.

Liam grinned wolfishly and couldn't resist. He appeared behind her like a phantom and, with a playful smirk, landed a sharp spank on her ass.

Smack~!

Mai jolted, a soft gasp escaping her lips, and spun around with a fierce glare.

When she saw Liam, her anger melted into a sultry smirk. She bit her lower lip in a way that promised trouble, her eyes gleaming with mischief and pleasure.

"My, my," She purred, voice low and teasing. "What brings my Master to this battlefield? Got lonely without me?"

Liam laughed softly, stepping closer, his voice dropping into a deep murmur only she could hear.

"Just here to make sure my little slave doesn't get herself scratched up," He whispered, his breath warm against her ear.

Mai shivered slightly, her knees weakening just a fraction.

Still, she fought to keep her pride intact.

"Hmph," She huffed playfully, "You trained me yourself. How could I disgrace my Master by losing to these pathetic pests?"

She turned slightly, posing just a little, showing off her confidence—and her curves—without shame.

Liam's eyes glinted in amusement and approval.

So bold… and yet still so eager to be praised.

He chuckled and nodded.

"Good girl," He said, voice rich with approval, sending a visible shiver down her spine.

Then, without another word, he stepped back casually.

"I'll leave this zone to you then," He said, flashing his trademark lazy smile.

Mai watched him, reluctant to let him go so easily, but she knew the battlefield wasn't the place to cling.

Still, she couldn't resist adding a final tease.

"Better be ready later, Master," She called out over the gunfire. "I'll want a reward."

Liam just grinned, his eyes flashing dangerously.

Without warning, his body started distorting, sucking into itself like water down a drain. The fabric of reality around him twisted as he activated Kamui, pulling himself into the dimensional void.

In a swirl of black and red energy, he vanished completely.

Mai stood there, watching the spot where he disappeared, her revolver hanging loosely in her hand for a moment.

Her cheeks flushed slightly, not from exhaustion, but anticipation.

'A free day…'

She smiled to herself, almost wickedly.

'A whole day with Liam. Just thinking about it made my heart race and my body heat up...'

She reloaded her revolver with a click, lips curving into a dangerous smirk.

First, she would tear through these cursed spirits.

Then, she would claim her reward.

Meanwhile, high above the battlefield, hidden in the folds of Kamui's dimension, Liam crouched casually on an invisible ledge, observing the chaos below.

His eyes gleamed with predatory amusement.

'The night had only just begun… and he was far from finished.'

Liam leaned forward slightly, his smile widening.

'Maybe it was time to stretch a little... '

He disappeared again, hunting.
