I knew it was business. I knew that this was who I was but it wasn't entirely a side I wanted Dove to have seen from me. It was hard to explain why I was like this but if you knew my parents there was no way I could be a master at keeping my anger at bay.
I went from zero to one hundred incredibly fast. There weren't any building steps to my anger if it just happened. That was why I couldn't do well in school. There was far too much bullshit from other students for me to not throw my fist at the first insult.
With a deep sigh I ran my hands down my face and leaned back in my chair. We were back at the office now which gave me a chance to process the events of this morning.
I didn't know if I got angry because Tony was generally a pest or because he had insulted Dove by treating him like he wasn't worth anything more than a waiter. The biggest contributor evidently was the fact he had insisted Dove had slept with me to get the position.
