Chapter 28 - Action [3]

Ray bashed his shield on the forehead of the Alpha wolf with all his momentum, knocking it back before it could even use its ability.

The other tanks also followed Ray's lead and knocked the other Alpha, just in time for the dealers and rangers to deal with the ordinary wolves.

The dealer immediately rushed in and started massacring the wolves without batting their eyes. None of them were even concerned about the Alpha, since they were fully confident about the abilities of their teammates.

In just thirty seconds, all the ordinary wolves were killed effortlessly without dropping a sweat.

After dealing with the wolves, they immediately turned their focus on Alpha, who cannot do anything but helplessly howl in grief and anger.

Seeing they would be surrounded and dealt with, both the Alpha used their ability and released their cold aura.

Before even the cold aura could reach Ray and others, a woman near Lana raised her hand like a gun and aimed at the Alpha pair.

A small flame manifested at the tip of her finger, and with a trigger, like a bullet, the flame traveled leaving trails of fire at a high speed.

The flame pierced the cold aura before it could even gather and struck the Alpha Wolf's chest. Instead of piercing through it, it exploded like a military grenade, creating a huge amount of smoke and blasting both the Alpha's away.

The smoke cleared in a few moments because of the snow squall, revealing the Alpha pair. Both of their bodies had a large amount of burns and even some pieces of flesh were also missing, they were severely panting and fear could be seen in their eyes.

Before the Alpha pair could register what was happening, another bullet was shot from that lady and this time, the size of the flame was larger than the previous one.

Nothing could be seen from afar because the explosion was larger than before and the smoke completely concealed their vision.

Dave, who crossed his arms and watched the battle silently, smiled a little.

"Let's go, this battle is over."

Nova looked at him silently, wondering how he could guess the result of the battle from afar.

With Shark Team, he silently followed behind him and arrived at the location of the battlefield.

By the time they arrived, the smoke cleared, revealing a small crater with pieces of Alpha wolf scattered here and there. None of the parts remained intact and blood scattered all around the ground.

Nova sighed in disappointment when he didn't see the cores. But his thoughts suddenly changed after seeing the crater.

'How did she kill a pair of Elite grade monsters effortlessly? Is it because her sorcery affinity directly counters the monster's nature?'

Nova wondered deeply looking at the beautiful blonde lady near Lana. Noticing Nova's gaze, she also looked over.

Then, Rock, who was near him nudged his shoulder gently, "Nova, you can't stare a noble lady like that. It may cause some unnecessary misunderstanding."

"What?!" Nova was bewildered by Rock's sudden voice, but when he looked over, the lady shook her head and turned around.

"Come on! What do you mean by what? How can you stare at a lady's body like that?"

Nova sighed and asked in confusion, "Rock, please explain in detail. I really don't understand what you mean."

Seeing the genuine confusion in Nova's eyes, Rock patted his shoulder.

"Well, I don't know what you were thinking, but your eyes were all on that shooter girl's chest."

'Huh?! What the hell!'

It was only after Rock pointed it out, that Nova understood the reason.

Unlike the others in the team who either wore leather armor or light armor with a winter jacket over, the lady who shot the Alpha pair didn't wear anything.

She wore a simple thin tight fit black combat suit that showed her perfect figure.

'Oh no, what should I do if she misunderstands?'

'No need to guess, she really misunderstood!'

Looking at her turning her face in displeasure, Nova shuddered in fear. He never even noticed her presence in the team until now and her first impression of Nova was a disaster.
