Entering into his own house, Zenis closed the door behind him with an annoyed sigh and sat on the floor leaning against the door with his back to it.
The last few days had only gotten better and better, problem after problem had appeared and it was starting to drive him crazy.
,,At this point I wouldn't mind if a meteor hit the Earth and killed all of humanity,, Zenis commented and chuckled.
But what are the chances that such a thing would happen out of the blue?
Before he could get to his feet, a small meteor flew through the ceiling, flying deep into the basement where it stopped and made a sound like someone cracked an egg open.
The sudden noise woke everyone in the house and before Zenis knew it, Dazne, Luna and Ourka were looking at the hole in the floor where the meteor had gone.
,,Everyone back to their rooms, Dazne you come with me,, Zenis decided and ran into his room where he pulled out demon scissors from under the bed.
He quickly ran back and before he could jump into the hole Luna grabbed a piece of his shirt, ,,big brother, everything will be okay, right..?,, she looked into his eyes hoping he would calm her down.
,,Ourka, take her to your room before something happens to her,, Zenis said and jumped into the hole in the floor with Dazne following him inside, disappearing into the darkness.
Landing in the middle of the laboratory, Zenis and Dazne looked around, looking for the contents of the meteor that for some reason had opened like an egg and the contents moved from the landing site.
Did Zenis and Dazne realize it was a bad idea to go looking for it?
Definitely.
Did they still look for the meteor despite the unknown danger that could cost them their lives?
Of course they did!
Whether they wanted to or not, leaving such a thing in their house unattended was sheer madness.
After a while, Dazne noticed a red stone in the corner of the room and immediately tapped Zenis on the shoulder and nodded at the stone.
After noticing it, Zenis and Dazne walked over to it, ready for any sudden movement, but it looked like it was just a stone.
The stone was blood red and small enough to be held in one hand, Zenis stared at it in disbelief and then turned to Dazne.
,,Bring a towel, there's no way I'm going to touch a space stone with my bare hands,,.
At his command, Dazne immediately ran back upstairs, leaving Zenis completely alone in the dark basement.
In Ourka's room, Luna was shaking a lot while Ourka tried to calm her down, but her attempts met a quick end as Luna was too scared to listen.
,,I'll go make sure it's safe outside, okay?,, Ourka smiled nervously and stood up, leaving Luna alone on the bed.
As soon as she opened the door, Ourka met the gaze of a tall woman, easily over 3 meters tall.
Her face could not be seen in the darkness, but her bright white eyes and evil smile were as bright as the moon on the night sky.
Before Ourka could say anything, the woman looked into her soul, completely freezing her in place with fear.
The woman, noticing that Ourka couldn't move, stomped on the floor, forcing Ourka to back up onto the bed where she fell and hit her head on the frame, falling unconscious.
Now with a bigger smile the woman walked to the hole in the floor where the meteor had flown and laughed in a soft voice ,,We'll see how you do with your gift, "holder",,.
With that she turned away and vanished into the darkness leaving no evidence of her being there.
However Zenis who was watching Dazne felt her presence even though it was weak she was still there.
"....I'm starting to think that God has something against me because I'm the only one who can have this many problems in the world" he thought and sat down next to Dazne studying the stone.
,,Any ideas what it is? I don't expect miracles,,.
,,it has no effect on inanimate objects, but maybe it does on living beings,, Dazne stood up with the stone and walked to the box where they had cute little white rabbit.
Without thinking, she put the stone inside and watched as the rabbit reached for it and tried to smell something from the new thing.
When it didn't smell anything, it tried to lick it, but as soon as it's little tongue touched the stone, its eyes turned black and after a few seconds it died.
,,....well.... We didn't really find out anything interesting,, Zenis muttered and poked the rabbit to make sure it was dead.
It really was dead.... What a surprise!
,,we have to test it on someone, but who-,,.
Before he could answer, Luna started screaming from Zenis's room, who had only just noticed Ourka who was unconscious.
You could practically hear the ideas clicking in both of their heads about who they would be able to try it on.
,,My God, we're not sure if this is a good idea, after all, she has to go to school,, Dazne muttered and walked closer to him.
,,We can't try the stone on anyone else right now, because it would raise questions with other people,,. One reason was that Zenis was more hungry for human flesh and ate people as he pleased.
Just a week ago, 30 people had been eaten, including their bones, which in itself raised questions.
,,In the worst case, she'll die and if that happens, we'll have a light dinner,, Zenis decided and entered the room with Dazne.
In the room, Luna was desperately trying to wake Ourka up with her shaking technique, which was not working at all and it made her cry louder and louder.

The moment the stone landed in her hand, her sclera turned into coal black and her mouth opened giving the impression that she was in a trance.
After a while of nothing happening Zenis looked at Dazne.
,,well... It seems that it has a different reaction with different beings, the rabbit was already dead at this point,,.
Listening to him, Dazne quickly wrote down in his diary exactly what he said as if it was the Bible and he was Jesus.
Out of the blue, Luna's mouth opened a little more and a deep unhuman voice spoke.
,,not her...,,
Surprised, both of them quickly looked at her and got into a fighting position.
,,she can't be the holder.... A weak body and a weak mind won't handle the challenge,,.
Was all that was said before that purple and blue eyes glowed in the darkness lifted up on Zenis and Dazne.
,,he... he's perfect,,.
Luna raised a finger pointing at Zenis and her mouth spread into a creepy smile.
,,Please touch the stone and accept my gift, become the holder and accept the challenge,,.
Luna lifted the stone in her trembling hand as if she was nervous about him making a decision.
,,What exactly are you?,, .
Zenis asked and walked over to Luna looking down at her. Even though she was much smaller, the one inside her body was strange enough for Zenis to keep his distance.
Luna just smiled crazily and raised her empty hand as if to shake it.
,,My name is Valthor, all I want is to see the other holders defeated, so please accept,,
Valthor's smile immediately disappeared and a serious expression appeared.
