These entities were clearly divided into two groups; one comprised vicious little ghosts, the smallest just an unborn mass of blood, the oldest perhaps only around ten years old.
The other side consisted of timid adults, shrinking away in fear.
Facing those sharp-toothed creatures across from them, they were filled with both resentment and fear.
Though those little ghosts were vicious, surprisingly, they weren't entangled with karma, and their presence was unusually pure.
In contrast, the enslaved adult ghosts, captured by the little ones, bore a crimson hue above their heads, weighed down by karmic debts.
