"Brother?" Shen Jingshu was startled by a shadow, and only after realizing it was Shen Jing'an did she breathe a sigh of relief.
She smelled the alcohol lingering in the air and frowned, "Brother, did you drink?"
"Jingshu." Shen Jing'an hiccupped, then suddenly hugged her, pleading, "Jingshu, don't get engaged to Song Tianji, okay? Don't marry him."
"Brother, you're drunk, I'll get you some hangover tea." As Shen Jingshu spoke, she tried to push him away.
Sensing her rejection, Shen Jing'an became even more emotional: "Don't go, don't leave me."
"Brother, let me go first." Shen Jingshu realized that their interaction was out of the ordinary and increased her strength.
But how could she, a girl, possibly be a match for Shen Jing'an, a grown man? Instead, she was held even tighter.
"Jingshu, I like you, you know I like you, right?" he whispered above her head.
