When Jian Lifan and his assistant came to pick up Ye Qiu, she was squatting by the roadside, blankly watching the passing vehicles and pedestrians, looking utterly at a loss.
"Ye Qiu," Jian Lifan sighed slightly, "Have you eaten anything?"
Ye Qiu shook her head, "No."
"Then come back to the company with me first." He said, opening the car door to invite her in, then told the assistant, "Order some takeout now."
The assistant asked Ye Qiu, "Do you eat spicy food?"
"Yes."
"Then I'll order two Hunan dishes for you."
The assistant was now full of curiosity, not knowing why his boss rushed out to pick someone up after a phone call, and it was a girl who seemed to still be in school. But as a subordinate, he knew when to keep his mouth shut, even though he perked up his ears.
"You said on the phone that besides the series I modified, the one that previously won a gold award was also your creation?" Jian Lifan asked in a deep voice.
