Early the next day, the Zhou family's car arrived. Ye Chuqing had been packing things in a flurry all night, and only managed to pack one box, half of which was filled with books she needed for her studies.
Ye Qiu sat on the sofa, seeming not to have any intention of getting up.
Ye Chuqing stood at the door and said, "You're not even going to see me off?"
"There's nothing to see off. These years, I've been selfish and sorry to you. Once you return to the Zhou family, your life will be back on track. You should take care from now on; if you need me to contact any directors or actors, you can call me anytime."
Ye Chuqing pursed her lips: "Is this all you have to say to me?"
She was very disappointed. Could she only call when needed? Was she not needed at any other time?
"Go now; they're waiting for you downstairs."
With that, Ye Chuqing said nothing more. She took a deep look at Ye Qiu's back, then went downstairs with red eyes.
