Chapter 4 - Sundown

Only then did he remember what the old man said as he slowly asked.

"You said there was a survivor of the Uchiha massacre, " Shisui asked.

"Apparently, yes, a kid no more than 6 or 7, as at the time, he was later taken in by the village and attends the academy currently, I believe." The old man said.

"I see," Shisui said.

'This is probably Itachi's plan, I don't doubt that Danzo would be furious about this; however, how furious can he get? The fact that the child is still alive after so long says it's part about a buffer, however...'

"Where are we at the moment?" Shisui asked.

The man raised his head to look at Shisui and sighed lightly.

"North of the Konoha, if you're looking for specifics, this place has no name; it was just trees and forests until I cleared it out, and is only marked by an estuary bank. However, if you seek to return to the village, you will need to head far south..." The man said then paused.

"Your body is not strong enough and I don't know what you plan to do, but regardless the least you could do is not bring trouble or notify me before you do so, I choose to hide away here not because I am a criminal but because this is my retribution, regardless of how I may look, I have a family waiting for me, eat your food." The man continued and then pushed the tray onto Shisui before walking away.

Shisui, on the other hand, understood the pleas of the old man and didn't plan on bringing him trouble at all.

However, he does plan to see things by himself.

But firstly he needed to eat.

It took no more than ten minutes to finish the food served to him, and then using his upper body, he pulled himself to the wheelchair. His eyes were still bandaged, however, he did not look so frail any longer.

But still he only sat there for over some hours not moving or even flinching from the slightest sound when the elderly man came to take the tray.

Shisui just sat there pondering, looking directly at the window, he assumed, considering that was where the air came from.

Meanwhile, only to him, he was checking countless parameters, and the only one that did not allow him to perform what he needed to do was his body, or more accurately, his chakra pathways.

He first used the direction of the wind to determine south of this place and then immediately after the sun went down he decided to try doing it

But just to confirm that the sun went down really, and it wasn't some kind of weather fluctuation, he really counted the time since he sat and talked to the elderly man till now, and it should accurately be evening.

He weaved the accurate hand signs casting a jutsu for what he intended to summon, and once he was done nothing happened.
