Danzo glanced at the last open Sharingan on his arm, a smug grin spreading across his face.
Sasuke had already unleashed his killing blow. After that, Sasuke was practically out of options, his Chakra drained to the point of exhaustion.
On the other hand, as long as Danzo was within the active period of Izanagi, he was invulnerable. Even with the Kusanagi Sword driven into his abdomen, he was unharmed.
"So what if you've forced out Izanagi? This time, I win..." Danzo boasted, but before he could finish, his eyes widened in disbelief.
"What's going on?"
Danzo spat out a mouthful of blood and asked with confusion, "Why didn't Izanagi work?"
Sasuke's lips curled into a faint smile, "Danzo, like you said, my Genjutsu might not be as good as Itachi's. But that doesn't mean you should underestimate me."
"You bastard!"
Danzo growled. He looked at the Sharingan on his arm again, only to realize, with growing horror, that the last open eye was actually already closed. He realized that he had been tricked by Sasuke's Genjutsu.
"How could this happen?"
Danzo staggered backward, blood pouring from his abdomen.
"I told you, I'll kill you!"
Sasuke said coolly, pulling his Kusanagi Sword back.
At the same time, Danzo could no longer hold on and collapsed to the ground, spitting blood from his mouth, looking extremely miserable.

Danzo roared, struggling weakly to lunge at Sasuke. But his injuries were too severe. As he tried to leap forward, he instead crumpled at Sasuke's feet.

Sasuke had observed that Danzo, after activating Izanagi, would check the closing status of his Sharingan. Sasuke took advantage of this detail, subtly altering the timing of the eye's closure with his Genjutsu.
That tiny delay of one or two seconds is imperceptible to Danzo in the heat of battle, so it had caused Danzo's last attack to occur just as Izanagi was undone.
Danzo's mistake had been underestimating the Sharingan itself. Sasuke had truly inherited the Uchiha Clan's legacy, using the Sharingan to its fullest potential.
Danzo, lying on the ground, let out a grunt. His right arm, now gray and lifeless, began to twitch violently. It swelled into a grotesque bulge, something unnatural seemingly trying to burst free.
"How could I lose to this kid? I can't die like this!" Danzo hissed, his voice filled with desperation.
Suddenly, the bulge on his arm expanded rapidly. From within, a massive tree erupted, growing at an alarming speed.
The tree shot up, easily surpassing five meters in height, with no sign of stopping.
Sasuke frowned slightly, and as he retreated, he quickly pulled a small green pill from his pouch.
This pill was given to him by the black-robed figure, and it had the singular purpose of replenishing Chakra. Sasuke stared at the pill with uncertainty in his mind.
It wasn't that he didn't trust the black-robed figure, it was just that such a powerful medicine was only meant to be used in extreme circumstances.
He had planned to save it for his battle against Itachi. But now, in this dangerous situation, the decision was much harder.
After much consideration, Sasuke decided to take the pill.
As the pill entered his stomach, a cool sensation spread throughout his body, as if a dried-up pond were being refilled with water. His chakra became active once again.
