So I'm back to abroad for studies and there's been a very bad problem of internet right now because of signal jammers and I really can't afford new WiFi connection for one person, so sorry for disappearing for a while...
Now that I'm back, I have a question for you guys. So mostly I am writing this story from Adam's POV. But during this period of break from writing, I thought you guys would want to explore more of Hogwarts and also the characters other than Adam, Harry, Hermione. Like the scene with Lucius and Narcissa during the mansion incident, Pure blood family meeting,Lucius and Snape meeting.
These are just the instances when I had to show those interactions for the sake of the story. But now what I mean is, would you like to explore more of the casual interaction between different characters in the background since this world is a lot different than OG wizarding world. Appearance of the secret spaces, even muggles being able to use magic. So with these new additions, I feel that there should be new characters and their interactions as well. And also I feel the need to explore more of the magic that is being learned and used. I wanted to make classes more descriptive as well.
I would've directly included all these things without asking but I already try to make my chapters quite descriptive by exploring more of the emotional and mental details of the characters as well as the world that is being shown. And this, kind of makes my chapter too long or sometimes, a single incident can be stretched from 1 chapter to 2 or even 3. And trust me, writing in this much detailis is really hard, trying to come up with words that describe the situation and emotions accurately and not being repetitive with those words and also using simpler words so that everyone would understand it in one go instead of going through the thought of what does this word mean.
So I would like to listen to your opinion as well to confirm my thoughts. Because going through with my thoughts might make story a little bit slower but ofcourse it is also a new part of the story we are experiencing since we are exploring new characters, beasts, magical spells. It is just that the timeline will move a bit slower.
And I am really sorry guys for disappearing for a while like this. I write the chapter and instantly post it so I don't have reserves to post when I am unable to write. Also typing on my phone is really really straining for eyes and fingers, just imagine 3-4k words of typing and editing it later on. On top of that, I am a medical student so, so much of the academic stuff going throughout my day. Sadly, I do not have PC/Laptop and I can not afford to focus everyday on the novel since this one being the fan fiction, doesn't earn anything for me and is just my hobby and passion for the wizarding world.
