Chapter 5 - Chapter 5 End of a Battle, Start of a War

-Back at the war ship after the raid-

The coating of blood on that was the reminants of the previous battle, was now cleanned. He scrubed it so clean that it once more acted akin to a mirrior instead of its original purpose as a blade of war.

Sezric's mud caked boots kicked up on to a table, dragon horn cups filled with a liquid rocked, barley spilling some contents. Pencils and war pieces fall off making a sound.

His arms rocked backward until he rested them behind his head, he let out a comfortable sigh. His long brown locks that usually rested in a pony tail hanged wildly. Not even an 60 minutes ago was this man excuting his enemies and plundering houses before setting them ablaze, sometimes with people inside them.

Screams still echoed through the metal of blades. His armor casted aside laying disarrayed on the floor, but helmet set almost image perfect on the table facing its unusual owner. Only his blade, which now supported itself on his legs, was the last intrument of war that remained with him.

The air in that room settled calmly, as 3 other people cracked open the door that acted as a border between the almost too clean Sezric and blood covered soilders who woobled around after the celebration of a succesful raid.

Jai walked first into the room, sweat covered his hairless head, gunpower remains on his leather clothing. Despite his small build, he looked even smaller walking in. Without noise he moved to a chair to the left of Sezric who remained seemily unaware.

A stark difference to his stoic manner that almost always dresses the man known as the tyrant of war.

Once he sat down, the chair creaked as another figure moved in. Her long pitch black hair, neatly combed, flowed down her cloat of dragon skin that made her subodinates cower away. But now she looked amiss as her blue eyes stuck to the floor.

Each other step made a creeking in the wood floor until she pulled a chair out from the right of Sezric, who still had his feet up like he was unaware of guests. Then once more after she sat down on the rough wooden chair, the last figure made his act.

A man stood tall clasped in iron armor shook every step he took. It mirrored a year until he stood infront of Sezric, his very being shaking. Only the table seemed to seperate this mans fear from him.

One moment... Two moments...

Then on the third, Sezric sat up, his feet dropping to the floor as even the wood seemed to be afrid to creek. The air broke with a tension as he opened his eyes.

A calmness that seemed to spark a clash with the tension. He smiled as his body shifted its weight to his left side.

"Remember our preicous treausre that we secured in that dreaded battle. You know after we slayed the beast plundered its treausre found that egg, thought about having a feast with it as the center." He trailed on as he falls into the memory.

"The sky was good that day. Seemed to soak right into the shell of that egg." Sezric smiled a smile that seemed too perfect, too praticed, too forced. Edges spreading too far.

"Y-yes sir" The soilder fumbled out, still quaking.

"Ah that was a good day, remember what the deal, you know, that you and I made-" Sezick motioned with his hands as if the words were on the tip of his tongue.

"I would stay-" The soilder speaking was cut short as Sezric continued.

"We would take the island while you stayed behind to protect the newly hatched dragon. Quite simple?"

"Yes-"

"Yet you failed, our forutne grew wings and flew off" Sezic acted the image out with his arms.

"Gareth, your job was perfectly simple, yet you failed at it." Sezric smile slowly faded as he stared at the motionless soilder infront of him.

"I- am horribly sorry lord." Gareth spat out in a hurry.

"Enough of that, you cost me a lot of money, more than your worth." Within a blink of an eye Sezrick shot up, his blade gleamming as it cut through the air, and soon Gareths eye.

"AUHHHHH" Falling back crashing into the wall, he clutched his blood gushing wound. Jai fliched while Minvera remained unmoving like she was next to face the tyrant's wrath.

"When we reach our next stop, you will be stripped of everything, having only a cloth to your name. After that you will be paraded around our ships as every man you served with watches. From there you will crawl to a merchant, where we will sell you into slavery.

Specifly into one where we all know you will be put into work. Dragon skinner, dragon fighter, perphaps you will be whipped as you chop wood or mine ores."

Sezric explained it with such detail, like an artist painting a beautiful piece.

"You will never see your family again, never. This is nothing short of the money you costed me. Now Minvera escort it to the cages." Sezric commanded as he walked back to where he onced shined all the blood off his weapon, to do once more.

The sound of footsteps echoed until silence fell once more, only it paired with the exterme air of punishment.

Sezric stared at the broken cage, his eyes bloodshot as his body rocked.

"I'm going to find that damn lizard." Sezric snapped towards his cloest friend.

"Prepare a course for Queen's Landing. We have a lizard to hunt for."
