Chapter 10 - Legions of the gods chapter 8: The beginning of the end.

"How does this sound to you, Dante? A treaty for slit-slut Everhart. Or… your friends and family?" Heimdall showed a mischievous expression. "There's only so much you can do." He chuckled. It was almost like everything went too fast. And Dante could only narrow his eyes in defeat. Heimdall had everyone held to his grasp. Including him. In their territory.

All in just a day of what happened before that.

Amidst a full moon, Quinzel walked a long a trail. As he promised, he left. But he was not far off of Asgard. And he looked around constantly. Each look back meant a quicker pace. And he tensed constantly. But then…

He stopped. As he heard a whistle. "Yoo-hoo. Quinzel."

"Are we really going to play this game? Today?" Heimdall appeared from a shadow.  And Quinzel freaked out. Using lightning to zap out of Heimdall's sight.

Heimdall teleported and stood in the middle of the green field with stone and mythic life everywhere. With his arms bent on his back. His chest swell up. And looking at the sky with a bland look. And with a sigh. He smiled to himself. "The silence is loud," Heimdall turned his back. "And I must say. You can only be so stupid— When the kindest thing I'll do today... Is kill you."  He looks into a certain direction with a malevolent and arrogant grin. And Quinzel hid behind a stone. Gritting his teeth. In frustration. His breath quickening.

"Don't tell me. You have to be kidding. Is bark and bite really what you were doing this whole time?" Heimdall scoffs. "Come on. I don't do neither… I didn't come to play games… I came. To play. With you."

"It's the same for me on the 'games part'." Quinzel barked again. Clenching his prothestic fist.

"I was just kidding." Heimdall put his hands to gesture "why bother" "if that's the case…"

He put a hand on the hilt of his sword. "Whatcha got?"

Quinzel got out of his hiding spot and lunged into Heimdall. Swinging his fist straight at Heimdall… but then… he disappeared. Heimdall didn't react because he just knew… that he was gonna go behind. And Heimdall only spun around and meet his kick with Quinzel's. And everything around them destroys itself. And it Pushes Quinzel back.

"The Scion of the Aesir, fighting a fool who just wants to go back to that whore you call a goddess?" Heimdall smirked. And Quinzel's eyes widened. "I'll kill you for saying that."

"That's not a promise." Heimdall assured him. And Quinzel when off on him. Immediately using the earth around him and throwing it at Heimdall. "Ohh, Nooo…"  And Heimdall just unsheathes his sword Hofund and swishes once at the big boulders. "Just kidding, that won't work either."

He says as he walks toward him. And then flash steps him. Front kicking him from behind.

"This right here. Would be a great exercise for sleep."

"I'll put you to sleep myself!" Quinzel yelled as he launched a barrage of hooks. Adding in a few kicks. But Heimdall spins past his last kick. And Quinzel only continues. But Heimdall weaves side to side.

"Don't joke with me. You disgusting, utter piece of trash!" Heimdall pushes him to the ground. But he gets up immediately. Swinging again with his prothestic arm. That gets destroyed with a stomp that pins Quinzel down holding him down with his foot.

"How's the view down there?" He mocks Quinzel tilting his head. Whipping out Hofund without the scabbard and swinging lightly. And Quinzel pushes it out of his face. And grabs Heimdall's foot. But Heimdall grins. "Having fun, yet?!" He says as he stomps on Quinzel's face. Making him eat dirt.

"None taken… For the Goddess." Quinzel grabs dirt with his other hand. Throwing it at Heimdall. And at the same time bringing Thunder down at him. And Heimdall laughs it off as he transports back. Into place.

"Was that lightning? I almost forgot what day of the week it was." He grinned. "How about this?" Heimdall slid Hofund out. Throwing it from hand to hand, "How about you take a deep breath for me? You know you're not going anywhere." He spins the sword around upside down. The tip engulfed in Bifröst energy. And slams it into the ground. And the burst of energy destroys everything around. Sending Quinzel flying back. And his back lands against a stone. And the pain is crippling.

"Shit." Heimdall chuckles to himself, "At my worst, I'm better then your best. Even mr. rabbit was better. And he's in my collection of pets."

"You know Dante?" Quinzel asked. Getting up. And Heimdall walked up to him. "Obviously. But like everyone else… he couldn't touch me." He grabbed him by the face.

"Let's save you the talk, Yes?" Heimdall's hand charges with Bifröst. Burning Quinzel's face. Making Quinzel scream with agony. And he raises him into the trajectory

"Get the fuck out of my realm." He says with a look of disdain. Before blasting a beam of Bifröst point blank at his face and it sends him flying. And to never be seen again. And once he's done so. He takes a deep breath.

"Since I'm here… Why don't I just do everything myself, hmm?"

the

Few hours later to sunrise…

"Boy, oh boy, oh boy! Wait until I tell you this!" Kragur was in a great mood today. And the Athena Legion were all sitting in a group having a conversation. And Dante spoke up.

"What's up?" Dante put his hands on his hip. And Yumi rested her had on the grip of her Katana. "If you're with this mood, the gods must've surrendered."

"Well… No." Kragur corrected, "Yes. But no." Elda got in front of Kragur. And cleared her throat. Making Kragur side eye his own wife.

"For the first time in his life, he read a folk tale. From the first fire giant. Surtr. It's about Odin's wives at the time, The Nine sisters. Or the Nine mothers of Heimdall. They were believed to be sea maidens, or giants of the water. And being with Odin. The god of kings, they had Heimdall, in gladsheim."

"How did Heimdall come out of Nine moms…?" Lili questioned herself, and Dante looked at his sister. A hesitant look on his face. "Um… You probably don't wanna know."

"But what does that have to do with anything?" He sparked the question, and Elda lit it. "Odin is the All-father. Of course he wanted all the power. He's killed all of his wives. And that involves the Nine sisters. And they all had the same weakness… overloading their senses. Their powers worked on those who they looked into their eyes into. And that includes Heimdall. He can read minds."

"And sweet me," Kragur intervened. "I think I can make just the weapon for that kind of stuff."

Kragur walked to his craftsmanship with a massive grin on his face. And showed a golden ring. "Check this out. This. Is a draupnir. That old son of a bitch, Odin, has these fellas plugged into his fingers. And just in case he loses one of them…"

He pokes the draupnir, the first time doesn't really do anything. He pokes it the second. And stares at it more closely. Until the third time. The golden ring explodes into 10. And it spills all on the floor and on the table. Leaving some gasps to come out.

"It multiplies itself. Infinitely!" He laughed. And he looked at Thorne. "And since I've already made you a shield. The axe that can make a dandy fight against Mjölnir. And armor. Why not make you another taste of what I can give ya?"  Thorne shot a look over at Dante. And Dante's eyes sprouted open as if saying "I don't know!" And Kragur came up from searching his craftsmanship. And unleashed a spear. But at the end. The hook of a sickle.

"Imagine this. But you can multiply it infinitely. There's bound to be millions of ways you can fight. And if he sees it coming; switch it up!"

"And I'll bind it with the element of wind!" He shows a small crystal. "I call this beauty; Víðfǫrla." He looks at Thorne with a confident look on his face. "But first, we need to get her blessed by the lady of the forge by Svartalfheim." He grabs the weapon and almost lets out a manly squeal.

"She's made thousand of beautiful weapons! Made with her unique quality." Kragur slid the spear to Thorne. "If we get her to bless it. We've already beat Four-eyes."

"Then he better get ready for the main event." Dante smirked. And Thorne nodded. "I'm coming."

"Great. Let me pack my stuff—"

"No!" Elda yelled at Kragur. A worried yet angry look on your face. "Have you even looked at yourself?!" She tantrums. And she took a deep breath. To call herself down. "I don't want you to… touch another mysterious object."

"This is escalating…" Dante whispered to himself as he looked down. Scratching his head and looking to the side.

"I'll be fine. When have you seen me not get up?" He puts his hands on her shoulders. And Elda looked at her husband. "But still be hurt?" She questioned his assertiveness. And he sighed.

"Eh, I'll drink it off." He smiled a little. Something that was almost too wear. And he walked up to Dante and Thorne.

"So… where is my fucking gratitude?" He put his hands on his hips. And Dante and Thorne looked at each other.

"Thanks for the weapon." Thorne smiled sheepishly. And Dante smiled at Thorne. Kragur dismissed his thanks.

"No, not you, big-bitch. I'm talking about my huldra."

"Your what?" Dante's eyes widened. And sees the creature bust through the door. It's figure bursts with life. And everyone looks shocked. But Kragur isn't.

"That's my fucking gratitude!" He rubbed its chest. And it purred.

"That's it's name?" Yumi intervened. Looking weirded out.

"That's what you meant? For a second, I thought you wanted a thanks." He blinked. "Sounds like the kind of creature that'd keep me in check — like Athena." Dante couldn't help but be a little amused. "Not my type... But still cute. 7/10." He puts his hand on his chin.

"It's my animal. So it's My name." He pets it defensively.

"Right. So much for gratitude…" He whispered to himself his lips shut. And Kragur heard the last part.

"What?" He narrowed his eyes. And Dante changed the topic. "Naming Lessons're over. Gotta go."

"Heh. 'Bout time." Kragur said with a smug look.

"Yumi. You own House rules. Can you keep everyone safe for me?" Dante nodded and smiled. And she smiled back.

"You don't have to tell me twice."

Dante looked over at Lina. "See you soon?"

Lina smiled back. "Totally." And with that, Dante looked at Thorne and Kragur.

"Let's give those gods something to lay down on." He smirked.

A gate portal later…

The three arrived to Svartalfheim. But it was way different then the city Dante and Lina met Yumi in. It was more like a village in the middle of a sunny forest. "This is the place," Kragur hopped off of his Huldra. As well as Dante and Thorne. "Thanks, Gratty." Dante pats the Creature.

"Well. What're waiting for. Let's go get that lady." He took the first step. And Dante and Thorne followed shortly.

"Are we gonna talk about what happened back there?" Dante presumed. "About what?" Kragur responded.

"He's talking about Elda's reaction to you coming with us." Thorne refreshed his memory.

Kragur groaned, rolling his eyes. "Elda is Elda. She's always worried I'll drop dead or blow myself up or… I dunno, piss off another god." He scoffed. "Look, I know I ain't exactly the best man—but when the job needs doing, she can count on me. She doesn't like that she has to."

And Kragur shrugged. "She tells me I'm her world," Kragur said with a shrug. His voice lowered slightly. "There's a lot she hasn't told me. Always had her secrets. And I guess… that's part of her charm. I'm sure they're not to hurt me."

Dante smiled. "At least hers are harmless."

And Kragur waddled away. "Whatever ya say, snowflake."

At Tyr's temple… Yumi and Lina stand opposite of Elda, who stares into the flames of the oven which Kragur uses for his craftsmanship, Lili wasn't too far but she was too busy playing with the dolls Kragur made for her. But Elda.. her expression burdened and scared.

"Elda… Are you okay?" Yumi asked. Concerned. Lina crossed her arms, tense. "You've been pacing since Kragur left with the boys."

Elda turns slowly, the firelight catching in her eyes. There's a long pause, her breath shallow, before she finally speaks.

"Because if he meets the Lady of the Forge… she'll recognize what he's missing… he's not whole?"

"Whole?" Yumi raised her voice. She mimicked her words in a different tone, "Kragur… died. A long time ago. Before any of you met him." Lina and Yumi didn't respond. But were shocked.

"Go on," Yumi commented. And Elda started pacing.  "He had a brother, his name was Durham, he told me everything. I met him in secret. After Kragur and I first crossed paths, Durham found me. Said he needed someone—anyone—to understand what his brother had become."

She steps forward, voice tightening.

"They were traveling to Midgard together… but Kragur fell. He died to a beast. And Durham… he couldn't bear to be alone. So he resurrected him using the Light of Alfheim."

"But the resurrection was incomplete. Not all of Kragur came back. A Fragment. That's why… his skin turned red." And Lina intervened, "So he isn't—"

"Whole. No," she confirmed. The red… it's a mark of magic. It's a visual scar. A void. A missing piece of who he was. Durham… he couldn't look at him the same after. Said his brother's eyes didn't carry the same soul. So he left."

"And that's where he met you, yes?" Yumi looked wide eyed. Elda nods, stopping her expression pained. Her hands to her mouth almost like she can't speak.

"He swore me to silence. Told me Kragur didn't know. That he shouldn't. I lied to Kragur. Told him the red was from an elven blessing. A side effect of the forge's magic. I just… I didn't want him to fall apart."

"Because that missing fragment… the Lady of the Forge can only speak to the soul. The soul he doesn't have… it would look like the lady is ignoring him. But he's just a ghost in her eyes. And if Kragur finds out…"

Her voice breaks."…I don't know if he'll survive the truth…."

Yumi, Quietly, "So all this time, he's been fighting… living… without knowing what he is."

Dante, Kragur, and Thorne. All walked side by side as they walked through the village. And as they walked. Slowly. Everyone recognized them. And they came out of their houses. But not to admire… a little bit more frightened if anything. They looked at Kragur and had audible gasps. Some whispered to themselves.

"That's Kragur…?"

"His appearance reflects what he's become; Disgusting."

Dante noticed the glares, the sideways glances, and the sheer number of kids being pulled inside.

"This is your hometown?" he said, raising a brow.

Kragur didn't flinch. "They're just thrilled I'm back."

"Pretty sure 'thrilled' doesn't involve pitchforks…" Dante muttered under his breath. As he looked away. Up a mountain, he saw Athena.. "Uh oh." and Dante looked down eyes wide. "It is. Look at them!" Kragur pointed. And scared a family away. With Dante stopping. "I'll catch up. I need a breather."

"What?" Thorne looked over. And looked at Dante's face as he looked over at Thorne with a look that screams terrified. And Thorne hilariously does the same thing when he sees Athena.

"Keep him busy. Talk to you soon." Dante hopped towards Athena.

Dante jogged up the hill, every step feeling like he was sprinting toward his own funeral. Athena stood at the edge of a ridge, arms crossed, her silver hair catching the wind like a divine warning sign. She hadn't moved, hadn't blinked. Just stared. Like a goddess-shaped statue fueled entirely by disappointment.

"Hey." Dante stepped up. "Fancy seeing you here."

Athena didn't blink. "It's been three months."

"It's not like that." Dante looked away. The wind didn't move. Her tone didn't rise. But the weight in her voice made Dante stop smiling. "I said I'd go to the Norns."

"You said you'd come back," she snapped — quiet, sharp. "Instead, you've made yourself public enemy number one."

Dante narrowed his eyes. "It wasn't gonna stop me from saving everyone."

Athena walked closer to him. "Do you understand what you've made. Of the Nine realms? Thorne and Kragur can't even breathe the same air as us and Odin has eyes on them. And that includes you."

"I poked them out." Dante assured her. "Odin's payroll were sent for Lina. And I messed up their game plan."

"You can't be serious. In your 7 years, Do you ever look out for yourself? You're coming home with everybody else."

"I need to get back to work." Dante gave her his back. "And what if for once… you don't come back from it?" Athena's eyebrows furrowed.

"Then I'm doing my job wrong." He glanced sideways. And walked away.

"Thanks for taking care of me, by the way—" he gets ready to hop away. But then…

"!!" Dante is held by the grip of Athena by the wrist.

"Don't make promises you won't keep again, Dante. Not to me." Dante looked at her eyes wide. But then his gaze softened with a subtle smirk. And a chuckle.

"I won't leave you with all the paperwork." Athena smiled, letting go. And he walked away and glanced back. " Make it the talk of the town." Dante hopped away. And Athena only smiled

"Don't disappoint, Koryu."

"Agh!" Kragur places a metal pip into a system. With Thorne holding it up. "Alright. Now ya can let it go." And Thorne does so.

"Ha! Would ya look at that." Kragur put his hands on his hip. And Dante joins the scene.

"What did I miss?" Dante asked.

"Nothin'. Just a few missing pieces of the submarine. But with my tools, it was another piece of cake." Kragur put with a smug look.

"Alright, let's scuba dive." Dante smiled.

The three got into the machine. And Thorne was looking at his potential new weapon. Meanwhile Dante and Kragur were standing near the window.

"She would sense our presence in any moment." Kragur crossed his arms.

"Sounds promising." Dante put his hands on his hips.

A low vibration hummed through the hull of the submarine. The blackness outside was pierced by glowing cracks—golden veins threading through the lakebed like a buried forge coming alive. Molten light bled upward in long, graceful columns.

Then, she appeared.

From beneath the cracked earth rose a figure bathed in liquid fire. The Lady of the Forge.

Thorne looked up from his weapon to see the lady. And Dante was mesmerized. "Guess you meant it literally." He smirked.

The lady smiled. No words came out of her mouth. But she stood her hand out. And Thorne was about to give the weapon. But was stopped by Kragur.

"She's asking for the blood of a god." Kragur looked back at the lady. And Thorne stood his finger out. "My innate technique gives me the body of a god. She should accept it."

And with her Nail. She poked his finger. Making blood swarm. She bends it with her hands. And shapes into a red scarf. And sticks her hand out for the weapon and the draupnir. To which Thorne gives. And with a bend and magical use of her hands… she binds them together. The weapon disappeared into the ring. And was given to Thorne. And Thorne grabs the draupnir. Now with a highlight of red around it. And Thorne puts it on his ring finger. And Thorne locks his eyes with the ring. With a clench of his fist. The spear summons in his hand.

"Wow… Even I'm a little intimidated." Dante grinned.

"Of course you should!" Kragur laughed. His glee shining off his eyes. But his face goes into remembrance. "Oh! I forgot." He cleared his throat, "ms.Lady… may you… bless it?"

The lady only stared with her smile at Dante and Thorne. But Kragur was almost completely avoided. And she waved off. "What?" Kragur responded to the action. Confused, "Hey! Wait!" And so. The lady left the scene.

"Dammit! Stupid goddess of craftsmanship!" He banged the window. But then… he looked down. Almost concerned. "Doesn't The lady only speaks to the part of the soul…" Kragur looked eyes wide. And then he gritted his teeth. To Athena's legionnaires confusion. "I knew I died!" He pulled the little of what he had of hair.

"Bull shit!" Kragur screamed. There was tears in the corner of his eyes. "Why didn't He tell me…"

"What are you talking about, Kragur?" Dante walked up to the Dwarf. And he didn't say anything. And Thorne stood his ground. Standing with the spear. And looks down at Kragur.

Kragur side glances angrily. "The fuck you want?" And what Thorne wants is to kneel in front of the Dwarve. Presenting the spear to Kragur. "I want the blessing of a black smith."

"What?" Kragur looks confused. Helooks at the spear. And immediately looks away. "I can't bless nothin'." Lightly pushing it away.

But Dante assured him. "The weapon doesn't matter. It's the thought that counts." He sticked his hand out to the weapon as he kneeled. His head down just like Thorne. And Kragur only stared…. It got to a point where Dante opened an eye to glance at Kragur. "So… Are we doing this or not?"

Kragur looked at Dante and Thorne. And held the weapon with the three. And he closed his eyes. "Heavens of the above. May this be used for justice, and be put down when it's served." And spits on the ground. And with that. Víðfǫrla was a weapon to be used not for. But against the gods.

"Gross. But that was awesome!" Dante raised his hand, "High five!" And Kragur looked at Dante with a look of disappointment. "Let's get up and outta here." He said as he got ready to pull the submarine. Leaving Dante hanging. His lips tightly clenched in embarrassment. "Uh… I solemnly do what you wish, then." And he walked forward to join the others.

Back at the Athena legion headquarters…

"They should be coming any moment…" Lina looked at the clock. And Lili layed on the ground. While Yumi was beside her. And Elda continued to pace.

Knock. Knock.

"Who's there?" Elda rushed to the door. Opening it. To be met by anything but her lover.

"Yoo-hoo." Heimdall grinned. And she looked shocked to find the god of foresight at her door step. But she couldn't do anything before she was kicked away. "It's me!" Heimdall exclaimed and Elda was sent flying. Yumi hid and grabbed Lina and Lili. Making a shush gesture. But Heimdall chuckled with a sinister look on his face.

"Yes, the dumb does not fall far from the tree. By all means, please. Wait for your turn." He smiled slyly. And Yumi exposed herself, unleashing her Katana.

"I'll cut you down like one." As she blurred in speed. But Heimdall only unleashed hofund a little from it's sheath. Blocking and clashing with her attack. And grabbing her by the pony tail as he makes her look up at him. "You are hilarious. How about you save those jokes for your family?" He gets close to her face. Eyes wide. A cold smile on his face. And Yumi growled. "You are a slave to yours."

His smile twitched as he saw Lina peeking out. And he dropped his hold on Yumi. But used Bifröst to make her stick frozen to the ground.

"How about I slaughter everyone in this room. Unless Lina Everhart surrenders?" He smiled mischievously. And Lili looked over at Lina. Who was hesitant on what to do.

"Don't do it." Lili whispered. And Lina glanced for a second.

"Tick-tock," Heimdall hummed, tapping the hilt of Hofund on his shoulder like a pendulum. "It's only a matter of time…" The worst part? He seemed almost exhilarated. "You know. You don't even know them. What they fight for. Who they are. You're just another victim that they felt pity on. What do you think is going to happen, when you separate from them?"

"Stop!" Lina gets out of her hiding spot. Her hands up. "You're right. Take me. Not them." She swallowed the node on her throat. "They have nothing to do with this." And Heimdall smiled to this news.

"Is that so?" His eyes crinkled from the corners. "I think I want to wait a little longer for a special someone. I'm not only here for you, dear. I'm here for him." Heimdall glued Lina to all 4's. And Lili came in. "You'll never touch my brother." But was grabbed by the neck. "Oh, but I will." Heimdall threw the little girl into a wall. And glued her with it with the summon of Bifröst.

"The longer, the better for all of you." His voice turned into a whisper as he glared at everyone in the room.

Back at Svartalfheim.

"I wonder what the others are doing." Dante brought up. To Kragurs Dismissal. "Eh. Probably janking it." Kragur waved off. And Kragur seemed awfully silent for a second. "Listen, the thing that happened with the lady? That's in between us. I don't want Elda to stress nothin'."

"I'm sure she'll be fine." Dante nodded. "The quicker we—"

A flock of Ravens come into the scene behind them. And make a tornado spinning around each other. And out of the tornado. Came out Mimir and Durlin. And Dante's eyes widened "You got to be kidding me." He muttered and he narrowed his eyes as he got into stance. And Thorne summoned his spear. While Kragur got out a hammer. And Durlin smiled coldly at three. "There they are. I heard they were in my realm." He looked back to Mimir. "Say what you were gonna say. I'll take my leave." He spat. Literally. And walked away. Glaring at Dante. And Dante stares back confused. And looked back to the Aesir God.

"Mimir?" Dante raised an eyebrow.

"Before you say anything— Listen." Mimir said with a serious face.

"Coming from an Aesir? That's rich." Dante tilted his head. And Thorne supported him. "You're with Odin?" who is face to face with Mimir. Kept his spear pointed at him just as long until he spoke. "No. I'm here to warn you." Mimir walked around Thorne. And Thorne kept his eye on him. "Lina won't move out of her place with us. Not because Odin says." And Mimir spoke. After a moment of silence that showed he wasn't lying. "Heimdall is on the move. You should be there before there's nothing left to save." The Ravens fly around him once more. "And it's not Lina herself." He said as he disappeared. Leaving the legionnaires concern.

"Don't worry 'bout him. He's just trying to scare us, snow flake." He walked over to Dante. But Dante seemed distrusted on the idea. And ran off. "We should hurry." Dante hopped onto the hill above them. "The others are in danger. The god of knowledge just told us that the god of foresight was 2 steps ahead. That's never good news." Kragur looked to his side and Thorne was off.  "What're you waiting for?" Thorne yelled. And Kragur came along forward. "Ey, I Hate when yall do this."

Back at the temple.

Heimdall still had everyone in his grasp. He crossed his arms and bit a nail. "You know, I haven't seen someone take so long that calls themselves a hero." He smiled to himself. Looking back at the door. "I should teach him a lesson or two."

"You do too little." Lina spoke out to him. Glaring up at him. "You'll never get past someone with a true spirit." And Heimdall tilted his head.

"Is that so?" He narrowed his eyes between his eyes.  "If that's his spirit. He's the fakest of them all. But I shouldn't take any words from you—"

Heimdall stops for a moment looking up at the sky. Sending something. And it's Thorne Throwing Dante further down. And Dante slams through the ceiling, crashing down. Landing in a superhero landing. As well as Thorne. And Kragur who hops off of his back. Dante called out to him.

"Give up, Heimdall. You're outnumbered."

Heimdall grinned. "Oh, you should see. Half of your team is hooked to my hip."

"That's half. It Doesn't change a thing." He narrows his eyes.

"Let's test that." Heimdall threw Bifröst with both of his hands, one after another. And it sniped Kragur to the wall. And Thorne parried it with his shield. Going off the wall. But He couldn't recover for the second. And Dante flipped out of the way and into the wall where he runs on it and glides over Heimdall. And mid aerial swings his leg at Heimdall. But Heimdall dodges. Dante lands safely with a backflip and immediately utilizes his surroundings. He sees the table. Throwing the mug on it at Heimdall with a roll. But Heimdall dodges with a tilt of his head. Before launching a blast of Bifröst. And Dante breaks the tables legs with a sweep kick and uses it for cover. Blasting a hole but still safe from damage.

"Really? You use cover? It doesn't fit your reputation." He charges the Bifröst in his hand. And Dante looked back. "Reputation? You sound like a fan. How about you come fight with me."

"I'd rather pity you, rabbit." Heimdall gritted his teeth. Launching the Bifröst at the table where Dante is. But Dante hops over it with a twist. Flipping over Heimdall and the table. Getting behind him, he goes for a two touch kick as soon as his foot touches the ground. But Heimdall leans back to dodge and front kicks him. And sends him flying back. Ragdolling and slides on the ground. Looking up but with a bloody nose. But he wipes it off with his thumb. Holding his jaw. Gritting his teeth and furrowing his eyebrows.

"Did you notice hand to hand combat is not your go to with me?" Heimdall smiled smugly.

"You won't notice it when I punch you!" Dante lunges with a hook. But gets a palm to the chest. Taking the air out of him.

"You're wasting my time. How does this sound to you, Dante? A treaty for that filthy Everhart. Or… your friends and family?" Heimdall showed a mischievous expression. "There's only so much you can do."

Dante got up slowly. "Try me."

"I just might." The Ravens surround Heimdall and the other legionnaires. "Go to Hel."

"Stop right there!" Dante rushed over to Heimdall. Tackling through the flock of birds. But was met with a fall into the abyss. And Dante yelled as he uncontrollably twisted and twirled. And hits debris on his way down. One by one. Until he black out.
