Except for Horace and Murphy, nobody else seemed surprised.
Clearly, they had known all along.
Horace's jaw nearly dropped as he finally realized why he had been locked up on Helheim Star and why that bastard Randall would go out of his way to kick him while he was down. Perhaps Randall had known Lady's true identity at that time.
And that sympathy from earlier... Horace truly felt like crying now.
He was finished.
He would never recover in this lifetime.
Murphy stared intently at Fu Xing, his breathing noticeably heavier.
When the meeting ended, Murphy didn't rush to leave as he had done before; instead, he followed Fu Xing all the way to the door of his office.
Fu Xing stood in the doorway, turned back, and clearly did not want to invite him in.
"Stop following me; you know I'm not in a good mood," Fu Xing frowned.
