The entire night, Hope Town was busy dealing with the beast tide in shifts.
Wave after wave of combatants changed, and wave after wave of demon beasts died.
But even so, the beast tide showed no signs of subsiding.
"This beast tide is really troublesome."
"After this day and night, I feel numb from killing demon beasts."
"My body isn't tired, my spirit isn't tired, but my heart is."
"Demon beasts are not cute at all."
"When will this end?"
"Perhaps by noon?"
"Keep killing, killing, killing, kill one to break even."
"But fighting all day is really exhilarating! I've already become an advanced professional."
"Congratulations, congratulations."
"Likewise, likewise."
"Come, come, let's switch shifts. Those who need a rest, step back voluntarily!"
"I can't go on! I need to eat something and take a nap, I'll be back in two hours."
"..."
Everyone mumbled, but their actions didn't stop, and even the shift changes were orderly.
No one thought the beast tide wouldn't end.
